FOUNDERS

The founders of IndieFrame have more than
15 years’ experience in documentary filmmaking,
including the Oscar-nominated Burma VJ – the film
that was the initial inspiration for IndieFrame.
They’ve known each other for 30 years, they’re
neighbors.
“We don’t disrupt, but if we were to use that popular
startup word, we would say that we disrupt the
Powers with the Voice of the People. Taking the
narrative back, and enabling journalists to work with
reality” say the founders.
4. • Global media need to create more content for
less money
• Falling revenue from printed papers and
challenges to get digital subscribtions
• Fake News
• User-generated content is hard to source and
verify
"News editors use huge resources every year to verify
content and sources found on social media - a service like
IndieFrame will undoubtedly make life far easier for them.
This also applies to the economy, where it is not
uncommon to use 6-digit amounts to obtain image and
video material to feed the ever hungry news machines"
Simon Hovmand-Stilling,
Former Chief Editor of Metroxpress TV 2News, Ekstra Bladet
