Govt. Primary School-Nallagutta in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh conducted an anti-alcohol awareness campaign. The campaign involved students visiting homes and areas where people drink alcohol to explain the harms of alcoholism and cigarette smoking. Many students participated enthusiastically in advising people about alcoholism, though the campaign was criticized for its casual portrayal of all drinkers as potentially troublesome and for encouraging interventions based on mere suspicions of alcoholism.

participated in this campaign children visited the houses and explained about the major causes
related to alcohol an cigarette smoking.Children visited the area where people drink a lot.and
they advised the people with regard to alcoholism.
Alcoholism is, without doubt, a real and destructive phenomenon. However, what the Save Dave
debacle represents is the casual manner in which we are all being cast as potentially troublesome
drinkers today.. The campaign implies As a contemporary health scare, the Save Dave campaign
feels clumsily familiar. It shares the creepy and crude logic of today’s stranger danger mentality..
