SCADA Engineering I have had the pleasure of working with Derek at SunEdison. He is a
motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity. Therefore, I expect that he

Derek was integral and important team member. As Technical Support Engineer, his primary
responsibility was to perform remote commissioning of SunEdison proprietary data acquisition
system on commercial and utility-scale solar power plants, in addition he was also responsible
to support field technician and end users with any issue related with the system and I'm
pleased to say that he performed these task with the utmost competence and more.
Derek takes the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions. His role requires strong
communication and technical skills, and he has shown that he not only has these skills, but that
he also has the ability to inspire respect and cooperation in teammates. He has shown that he is
a very intelligent person and a skillful engineer.
Derek has informed me that he is pursuing an Engineering Application Programmer at your
organization. Based on my observation, he clearly has the interest to excel in this field, and
