The Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is usually applied when you are selling a
product as the product must fit into the table somewhere. Maslow’s hierarchy
of needs theory consists of 5 stages which suggest there are 5 different stages
of life.

The theory of Blumer and Katz says that every time one watches something at
least one of the reasons below are why they consume.

5. CRITICISM OF BLUMER AND KATS
Even though their theory sounds great and may match the reasons we all
consume however, the theory doesn't’t allow the audience to have any free
will. It also makes us feel that we aren’t in control of what we are watching.
