1. Last year the number of students applying to University dropped and is
continuing to decrease. The fees for entry at University made this impact,
making it difficult for students to pay the fees. It costs £9, 000 per year for a
student to go to University; it costs £23 to send off their UCAS form as well. The
price for University adds up, leaving students unsure whether they can afford
to attend further education.
