Established on October 1, 2014 as part of our
Passport to Success Program
Project made possible by Eliminate the Digital
Divide grant from the Illinois Department of
Commerce and Economic Development, and the
Clinton Global Initiative
Funding provided 75 scholarships for Career Online
High School
Scholarships are open to all Fountaindale Public
Library District cardholders in good standing
4. Passport to Success
Initiative designed to assist patrons with acquiring
technology skills through a combination of basic
computer classes, social media tools, and online learning
Free program open to all area residents with a valid
library card
Participants participate in 10 hours of computer training,
including an online basic skills assessment in one of our
passport tracks
Participants receive incentive awards during the
program. FPLD cardholders are eligible to win one of
three laptop computers, and other special giveaway items
