disorders, down syndromes, cerebral palsy, verbal autism, and Asperger’s

o Provide therapy to pre-school-age children in one-on-one and group
settings.
o Treatment for patients with speech and language disorders, high
functioning autism, non-verbal autism, and cochlear implants.
o Clinical experience gained in the following areas: articulation disorders,
expressive and receptive language disorders, picture exchange
communication system, auditory processing disorders, electronic report
writing via Point & Click, and educated parents.

patients throughout the hospital
• Volunteer Action Committee- responsible for engaging children in weekly
reading circles and constructing activities related to the chosen books
• Boys and Girls Club- oversaw after school care for underprivileged children and
responsible for creating physical activities and games to engage the children with
their peers
• Girl Scouts of the USA- coordinated activities for local girl scouts to promote
confidence
• Ozark Kindergarten Center- provided individual tutoring services to students
struggling with reading, math, and other skills.
