The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR1
) approved by the European Parliament in
May 2016 and applicable as from May 25th of 2018, will bring a new European legal framework
in which new obligations are added with considerable impact on the life of organizations, both
public and private.
As provider of several Mobile Marketing Solutions, Go4Mobility processes Client’s data on a
daily basis related to its business areas, namely Bulk SMS and SMS Payments.
We are strongly committed to ensuring that our platforms and processes comply with the new
Regulation.
Being our main goal and priority, we have been working deeply to be compliant with the new
legislation, by doing several internal training actions, improving procedures and impact
assessment on the processing of data, safety practices and related documentation, in
accordance to GDPR requirements.
We are proud to announce our intervention in the following matters:
• Documenting the activities related with the processing of personal data and register of
internal procedures
• Ensuring that all our stakeholders have adequate security guidelines to protect the data
processed and are also in compliance with the GDPR
• Improving practices and measures employed to promote the correct implementation of
GDPR obligations (e.g., data protection impact assessment, register of processing
activities, management of outsourced resources)
Guidelines and procedures already implemented to ensure data protection and compliance:
• To ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of data-processing
systems and services on a permanent basis
• To restore availability and access to personal data in a timely manner in the event of an
information security incident
• To activate training plans and awareness exercises directed to employees who deal
directly or indirectly with personal data
On May 25th, 2018, we will be compliant with GDPR and prepared to continue ensuring the
safety and trust of our Clients.
