As a committed creative individual i have always
had a passion for challenge and uncharted territory
and so architecture allows me to keep exploring
ideas, to grow both personal and professionally.
I can adapt to a wide range of situations and de-
sign procedures ,paying special attention and care
to context.
In my previous experience I tried to make the best
out of my exchange and collaboration with other
talented people and will try to keep doing so.
I also like spending time on other activities such as
playing guitar, piano ,running and football.

9. I HOSPITAL DEL MAR
Barcelona
design studio // year 2013-2014
Built in the early 20th century as a military
french pavilion type hospital, the current
complex is a result of consecutive refurbi-
shments who tried to address the thera-
peutic needs of their time. This results in
a barely recognisable hospitalization area
which becomes the main element of study
in this proposal.

11. It is only though an accurate historic eva-
luation of the whole complex evolution that
the proposal is able to to supress inneces-
sary duplicities and to establish a clearer
organization of the hospitalization area. The
incoporation of new exterior areas also help
to provide a higher therapeutic value to the
building.

Glasgow green
design studio // year 2012
Glasgow green's south area is full of sports
facilities which expansion keeps on going
as the Hockey Arena is going to be there as
part of the Commonwealth games taking
part in 2014.
Though, the current proposal fails to
understand the site potentials and denies
the original identity of this unique part of
the park, which is the only one that offers
great panoramic views of the city. The
access to the public and the relation with
the current walk paths remains unknown
as well.
16.
17. The proposal aims to keep a corresponden-
ce with the guidelines of the park, being
an extension of its striped spacing.
This provides clear delineation to the dis-
tinctive areas of the building, separated by
large bars containing both compact spaces
and mechanical services zones.
These separate ambiences are given diffe-
rent heights, pool & ambient temperatures
and overall feeling which the previous
premise also offers.

19. We are located at the highest point of
Cuenca, where Arco de Bezudo arises as
the remains of an old Medieval fortress ,
and also culminates as the ending of of
spatial sequence starting at Parque del
Huècar.
The lack of social interaction facilities
for local inhabitants, mostly of advanced
age, serves as a pretext for making use of
its most important viewpoint for a public
mutifunctional center.
Understanding how inhabitants move and
interact with Cuenca's characteristic urban
configuration becomes the main subject of
study for this intervention, as the result will
form part of its charismatic riverfront.

Port of barcelona
design studio // year 2010
Barcelona urban growth keeps pushing its
logistic activities to the west, as they have
been gradually dissapearing from its main
waterfront area.
In addition, as the Port of Barcelona grows
increasingly fast on its west side sector, re-
sources for moving shipping cargo on the
east side are being shortened, which leads
to a decrease of its shipping activities and
in some cases, leaving large buildings
areas empty.
The exercise explores the chance of
turning some of its 1960s first concrete
industrial pavilions into cultural containers
that absord the cities most noisy activities,
such as musical and night events that are
hardly able tocoexist with residential uses
anymore.

25. I V S T R AT E G Y
An evaluation of the existing shell condi-
tions is undertaken in order to determine
which elements of the current construc-
tion would be suitable for events such as
concerts and musical venues, taking into
consideration the building transition into a
heavily crowded area.
The current format allows for a clear
customer and staff zone distinction by just
adding two bar-like spaces that will act as
a separator between the circulation areas
and the music halls. These will absorb any
technical spaces, wet areas and rehear-
sal areas, which require more compact
formats to work.
The new roofs will now take advanta-
ge from the arched shape of the roof ,
allowing for a venturi-effect, where hot air
naturally moves to the highest point of the
venue.
