It is a pleasure to workwith you & your outstanding team during the process of
implementation of Epic Community Connect in my 3 officelocation& multiple mobile
devices as well, The Epic practice connectby far has exceeded patients, officestaff,
billing staff & my expectation in multiple aspects including;
ForPatients: They are extremely happy with My Chart mobile deviceapplication as it
enables them to book& confirmtheir appointments on line at their convenience outside of
the normal officehours & withoutthe need to call& be on hold, Also the ability of the EMR
system to sent either email or text notification with the link to their charts immediately
keeping them informed with their lab results & giving them the level of care & attention
they deserve & deliver medication & or admission to the hospital in a timely fashion, also
prescriptions are e-prescribed to their pharmacy & e-messages fromthe officestaff &
myself whichis much more confidential & secure than conventionalphone calls,
ForOffice Staff:The ability to enter lab order & radiology tests at XXX oroutside facilities
through Epic whichwill subsequently be sent to the patient's chart saves them a lot of effort
& time, Patient's ability to access their chart has eliminated a large number of phone calls
asking forlab results & appointments & kept patient's confidentiality at a high level
compatible with the HIPPAregulations whichwill save the staff's time & ease their work
day,
Forthe BillingStaff:Theprocess of billing has been seamless & encounters are billed in
the same day together with their access to the needed reports both has lead toquicker
collection& saving the office& XXX staff time asking formedical reports or authorization
forms.
ForDoctors:The ability to communicate withXXX Labor & Delivery staff through Epic has
eliminated ALL the phone calls asking forpatient's prenatal records & minimized errors of
communication, Also the ability to have Smart texts now 6 months after the
implementation is saving time.
The ability to access patient's records on mobile devices has been very helpful when
returning patient's phone calls at night & being able to e-prescribe medications through
these devices, Theability to see the workof other doctors& send & accept referral through
the system is superb does save patient & doctors ordering tests that has been ordered
already,
The extremely efficientdocumentation is protectiveto doctors & their staff from
legal point of viewsespecially when it comes to patient communication in Epic rather than a
phone callthat is not documented. All in all this is by far the Best system in the
Nation.
