MIRS V3
MIRS: Moraware Inventory Reconciliation Software
MIRS is an automated bar code data collection system that integrates with Moraware JobTracker. The added
functionality significantly reduces the time and effort involved in doing physical inventory and cycle-counts
using bar code scanning technology.
Benefits of MIRS include:
Automatically correct location discrepancies in Moraware by scanning slabs and remnants with barcode
scanner
Save time, effort, and manpower doing full physical inventories and cycle counting
Ability to see On-Hand and Unit Costs of Slabs after scanning inventory
Ability to see your slab statuses in real-time. Slab Statuses include:
Slabs that are Available for Sale
Slabs that are Allocated to a Job
Slabs that are “On Order” in JobTracker and need to be changed to Received
Slabs that are “Fabrication = Complete” in JobTracker that you can un-allocate and be converted to cash
Slabs that are “Not Serialized” in JobTracker and need to be added.
2. MIRS Navigation
Inventory Comparison Report - After scanning
location/s click here to get a complete report of all
locations scanned. Discrepancies are highlighted,
and you can compare data based on different
parameters.
Serial Number Information - To scan a slab and
see what job (if any) it’s been allocated too. It will
also show the serial number of any related slabs (as
assigned by jobs).
Current Scan, Totals by Product – Use this report
after scanning location/s to help determine products
on hand, on order, as well as the Unit Cost and On-
Hand costs of each slab.
Inventory Scanning - Allows two different methods
for inputting Serial Numbers. Select Drop-down
Rack Location and use Multi-Scan Option to scan
multiple slab barcodes before inserting.
Location Reconciliation – After scanning location/s
click here to see what locations have been
reconciled and which locations still need to be
scanned.
Sync with JobTracker– Use this application after
you’ve added anything into JobTracker. MIRS will
sync within 5 minutes and be updated with any new
information or barcodes you’ve added.

jobs that are completed within Moraware tying up the allocated inventory

Sorting and filtering capabilities based on
Status, Locations, discrepancies, and Users.
Export the results to Excel, PDF or Word formats. Refresh the results to see the current status.
6. Location Reconciliation Report
1 Slab is currently unaccounted for.
Once you click
on the Inventory Scanning page, it
will reconcile that location in real time
with Moraware.
You completely Finished Scanning Rack H.
JobTracker thinks there’s supposed to be 35
slabs there.
You scanned every slab at Rack H, but
there were actually only 34 Slabs
there.
Moraware now is updated to know there are only 34 slabs,
NOT 35 slabs, currently sitting at Rack H. The missing slab
is sent to “No Location”.
The missing slab will stay in “No Location” until it is later
found and scanned into it’s found location
OR
You’ve completed two full physical inventories (to be safe)
and it still hasn’t been found. At that time you can be
certain it’s not in your facility anymore and can erase it from
the system.
7. Current Scan, Totals By Product
Quickly identify product and product
variant totals allocated and
on-hand to determine re-order
requirements and inventory values
Track inventory scans by date and totals
Sort the Report by Inventory Status,
Scanned Location, or JobTracker Location
See On Hand Cost for
particular slabs, scanned
locations, or for your whole
inventory if using this Report
after completing a full physical
inventory.
