career guidance, etc.
• More than helping schedule courses, this process helps students fulfill their
potential.

9. Advisors and students can work together
• Students also have to take responsibility for their education. A student has
to be held accountable for responding to advisors emails, being on time and
committing to appointments, and also being prepared with questions,
career goals and interested course selections. Students should be required
to sign off on the check list as well to be sure they are satisfied with the
meeting.
