WORK EXPERIENCE:
I have 36 continuous years in the building services industry with experience of the
electricity supply sector, of which the last 18 years has been working within the
Design & Estimating Department.
I am very target driven individual who thrives on the pressure to bring in results, being
able to organize and prioritize my workloads.
I am a highly motivated person and enjoy managing and developing myself. I am a
great motivator of people and an excellent team player, with a clear focus on safety and
profitability.
As my job is 100% customer driven I am fully aware of the necessity to be totally
customer focused and I appreciate the need to respond to and exceed customer
expectations. As it is a customer focused environment this has given me the
opportunity to develop my communication and interpersonal skills to an exceptional

4. The installation of all methods of wiring and associated cable management, the
diagnosing and repairing of electrical faults and the testing and commissioning of both
new and existing installations. During the period I served as an electrician I was
expected to organize and plan my daily work schedule using my own initiative to
ensure that projects were completed on time, which often involved the close liaison and
co-ordination of the works with associated trades.
Also during my latter years as an electrician, I went on a number of training courses at
Norweb’s DTC Training Center to become a HV jointer/fitter working for our utility
section. Unfortunately I never gained the on-site experience, due to the complications
arising from getting the on-site training.
