51. “Nowadays, learning English is seen
almost all over the world as a requirement, and
the ability to communicate in English as an
international language or as a global language
has developed into one of people’s important
goals for various reasons. English is therefore
the distinguished language of the present
century. English has essentially become the
“universal second language” of the
international labor market, and the
socioeconomic significance of this cannot be
overstated (Light, 2007). Consequently, Morada
(2009), states that the learners who are
performing code switching generally have the
same problem as they cannot recall the
appropriate target language structure. And one
of the reasons for this specific language
alternation case is he/she may not have
transferred the meaning exactly in target
language.”
