2. Dominant: Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is dominant
because he stands out and is holding a large object.

3. Lighting: The lighting in the frame is high key
because the lighting is balanced throughout the
shot. This is a typical technique used in comedies.

4. Shot and Camera Proxemics: Medium Shot due to
the distance away from the characters that the lense
appears to be at. It is not a zoomed in shot nor a
wide and zoomed out shot.

5. Camera Angle: Fairly straight on. The shot is
relatively face-to-face with the actors.

6. Color Values: Black and dark brown colors
dominate the shot. Ron stands out against these
colors by wearing blue.

7. Lens/Filter/Stock: It appears that a wide angle
lense was used because the entire shot is in focus.

8. Subsidiary Contrasts: After a person looks at Ron
(the dominant) character, they will then move to
Brian Fantana who is wearing a pink undershirt.

9. Density: The image is dense, because not only are
the characters in focus but the background images
as well. The texture of the scene is also bright, with
both sides of the characters lit.

10. Composition: All of the characters in the scene are
placed at a vertical position suggesting strength.

because the majority of the screen is dominated by
the characters leaving very little room for the
background information.

12. Framing:This is a tight shot because of the lack of
border room around the characters. If either
character on the outside was to take a step to their
right or left they would be outside of the shot.

13. Depth of Field: All of the planes of view are in focus
in this shot. The news crew, the brick building behind
Brick, and the bridge all the way in the back are all in
focus.

14. Character Placement: All of the members of the
news crew are centered in the frame. This shows
how they are unified and will fight together in the
upcoming fight.

15. Staging Positions: The news crew are placed in
full-front profile positions with their entire bodies
facing towards the camera. This shows how they are
prepared to engage.

16. Character Proxemics: The distance between the
characters is quite intimate with very little distance
between each other. This shows how they trust each
other and work together as a team.
