Utopian Brochure
1. Create Your Own Utopia
Due: Friday, May 1st
Counts as a TEST grade
Project Summary: For the past couple of weeks we have gone over utopias, talked about
problems in our society, and ways in which we could fix those problems. We focused on
agrarian utopias like Fruitlands, Brook Farms, and the Shaker Village. Now I want you to create
your own utopia based on solutions to problems you think society has today. After creating this
utopia you will have to convince others to want to join your utopian community either by
making a brochure or a persuasive power point. On the due date you will have to present your
brochure or power point to the class and persuade your classmates to join this community.
