Accelerator Project
As senior director and supervisory investment officer for the Department of Energy
(DOE), Daniel Tobin is responsible for analyzing possible credit risks and negotiating and
closing loans as related to renewable energy projects. Daniel Tobin maintains a number
of professional memberships relevant to his DOE position, including with Clean Energy
Group, which works with state governments to create clean energy practices and new
markets to help make clean energy the new norm.

Accelerator Project
The group operates a number of projects to support its mission, including the Offshore
Wind Accelerator Project, or OWAP. Some of the work they do involves maintaining
information on the Offshore Wind Hub, which provides access to documents on the
policies and technologies of offshore wind. OWAP works with individual states to create
guidelines that will serve the development of offshore wind in the long term. The
organization is currently involved in a US Department of Energy project that focuses on
Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York working together for offshore wind
development.
