his spot to kill his future victims, this creates
tension for the viewer because they’re
waiting to see what happens next.
4. EXTREME CLOSE UP
This shows that the killer is about to
enter his targeted area to kill his
victims, this camera angle tells the
viewer that this could be the
possible weapon that he uses.
5. CLOSE UP
This shows the killers hand
marking the wall which could
send out a warning to anyone
who dares to enter. This
camera angle makes the
viewer feel intimidated.
6. REVERSE SHOT
This shot shows
that the killer is
murdering his
victim with his
bare hands. This
gives the viewer
a on the edge of
the seat feeling
where they’re
intrigued to find
out what
happens next.
7. LOW SHOT
This gives the effect of
the characters being
bigger than they
actually are, this also
makes certain
characters more
intimidating. As in this
shot it shows the
murderer is more
dominant, this gives
that thrilling feel.
8. TILT SHOT
This angle gives an effect of an
event potentially coming to an
end. It will give the viewer a
feel of the film or programme
ending as no action is really
happening but it gives a final
camera angle where it cuts off
the action.
