In September 2015, all 193 United Nations Member States adopted a plan to achieve a better future for all — to chart
a path for the next 15 years to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and protect our planet. The
“Agenda for the period until 2030” is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which clearly define the
world we want - apply to all nations and leave no one behind.

The following picture shows the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, related to the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030.

Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Eradicate extreme poverty for all people
everywhere
• Create new official jobs in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions where we operate;
• Employment and development of residents from villages near our farms;
• Pay fair salaries above the average market in the regions;
• All employees are provided with workplaces, toolset, work clothes necessary for work performance;

showers at farms, security control systems);
• Yearly support to local residents is around 3 Euroо per 1 hectare of arable land;

Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Ensure accessibility to balanced nutrition for all
population groups
• Free lunches for all our employees and coffee-points;
• Regular delivery of meat to schools and kindergartens, village councils for village days; and celebrations
of traditional holidays.
Ensure the development of sustainable food
production systems that help maintain ecosystems
and gradually improve the quality of land and soil,
primarily through innovative technologies
• We apply best Danish eco-friendly technologies for pig and crop production which reduce CO2
emissions. We also strictly adhere to the procedure of crop rotation to prevent depletion of soils and
ensure greater yield. We choose manure as an organic fertilizer, and apply it according to Danish
standards for the restoration of land balance.
Maintain the genetic diversity of seeds, cultivated
plants and farmed and domesticated animals and
their related wild species
• We use exclusively Danish genetics, which we constantly support by import of boars from Denmark.

• We are constantly investing in reconstruction of old Ukrainian farms in compliance with modern EU
Danish agricultural standards and requirements. We are also investing in improvement of soils we lease.

Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Achieve universal health coverage, including
financial risk protection, access to quality essential
health-care services and access to safe, effective,
quality and affordable essential medicines and
vaccines for all
• In 2019 we implemented health insurance for all employees;
• In 2018 we implemented Labor Protection Policy;
• Medicine boxes are available in each office of the Group;
• Annual city run marathons (Wizz Air, Nova Poshta Run) for personnel.
Substantially reduce the number of deaths and
illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water
and soil pollution and contamination
• There are a few working areas where our employees are exposed to noise & dust but the major ones are
the mechanical workshop, grain dryer and grain storage. At these areas we provided individual
protection means for employees. Middle managers are responsible for usage control;
• To minimize heavy manual lifting movements we purchased different mechanisms to reduce ergonomic
ergonomic issues for our employees;
• We don`t use dangerous machinery at the production facilities. We have only a grain dryer. All security
precautions are taken;
• On a regular basis we conduct safety trainings for our employees on induction period and in
with legal requirements;
• We provide personal protection equipment for employees from Construction department (helmets,
gloves, glasses, special workwear) and those who are engaged in the work with a grain dryer;
• We created safe working area for our employees. In case of any emergency the Group adopted
instructions and evacuation schemes;
• We don`t have any work accidents for the last 3 years;
• We successfully passed State Inspection on Labour Protection in April 2016.

Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education
and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
Ensure equal access for all women and men to
affordable and quality technical, vocational and
tertiary education, including university
• The Group conducts trainings on a regular basis including safety and professional skills;
• Developing a special training program for our personnel;
• We give loan to our employees for higher education of their children.
Substantially increase the number of youth and
adults who have relevant skills, including technical
and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs
and entrepreneurship
• The Group cooperates with the local agricultural colleges. We have established a trainee program for
students who study for tractor drivers, machine operators and other agricultural professions. We open
opportunities for those students who want to intern in our company, e.g. to drive modern equipment
together with best professionals.

child, disability and gender sensitive and provide
safe, non-violent, inclusive and effective learning
environments for all
• We provide donations to rural schools for repairs and stationery.

Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Ensure women’s full and effective
participation and equal opportunities for
leadership at all levels of decision-making
political, economic and public life
• Percentage of women in leading positions is 40% at the Group and 33% in DFU Agro. In
the accounting team women are obviously take the leading position.
• Company`s management takes regular measures to maintain a healthy atmosphere, to
avoid any kind of physical, verbal, sexual and psychological harassment and abuse.

Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all

• Company provides personnel for high-quality drinking water for free.
Achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for
all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of
women and girls and those in vulnerable situations
• The Group continuously improve working conditions for employees in office and production premises. Canteen, washing
facilities, toilets are kept clean.
Improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping
and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials,
halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially
increasing recycling and safe reuse globally
• We use Danish eco-friendly approach in our business to avoid pollution of water, air and soils. Instead of hazardous chemicals
we use manure for soils.
Substantially increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and
ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address
water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people
suffering from water scarcity
• We do not recycle water. However make continuous efforts to reduce consumption of water in general. The major water source
source for our farms is on-site wells. Testing water is performed on a regular basis;
• Considerable amount of waste water is being cleaned through special water-cleaning equipment (BioTal, BioBox, etc.) before
discharge.
Double the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency • We constantly improve energy efficiency of our companies by using up-to-date technologies in all spheres of our work.

Goal 8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive
employment and decent work for all
Achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all
women and men, including for young people and persons with
disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value. Ensure equal
opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcome
• Employees are assessed and remunerated on the basis of their qualification and work performance, disregarding gender, age,
nationality, etc. The salaries are defined by types of work and are connected with gender or age;
• Seasonal and temporary employees have the same employment benefits as the permanent – overtime tariffs, free lunches, sick leaves,
leaves, health checks, etc.;
• We are open to employ local residents to improve employment rate in regions where we operate.
Substantially reduce the proportion of youth not in employment,
education or training
• We cooperate with agricultural colleges. There`s is a trainee program for students to intern in our company and learn more about agro
professions from the inside.
Protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working
environments for all workers, including migrant workers and
those in precarious employment. Facilitate orderly, safe, regular
and responsible migration and mobility of people
• Rights and duties are stated in labour contracts & job descriptions. Employee handbooks are under development;
• CEO and middle management hold regular meetings with employees. Employees can freely access to CEO when needed;
• Company continuously improves safe working environment both in administration and production premises;
• We assist expats to assimilate in Ukraine, help with migration documents and communication with authorities;
• Farm workers are provided for a dormitory which is equipped with all necessary conveniences: shower, toilet, kitchen, heating. The
dormitory is based on a secured territory;
• We provide for a free transfer for our employees to get to work daily;
• Free lunches for personnel;
• Free washing means (soap, shampoo, cleaning and protection equipment);
• 3 parties per year (2 summer picnics and New Year celebrations);
• Get-together meeting for middle-management (annually).

Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Develop quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient
infrastructure, including regional infrastructure,
support economic development and human well-
being, with a focus on affordable and equitable
access for all
• We support local villages and make donations for infrastructure improvement:
renewal of schools, hospitals, roads, gasification and lightening;
• Provide donations to the villages Grozyne, Synghai, Khodaky, Holovky, Slobidka,
Yosypivka, Chopovychy, Khalcha, Kuzmyntsi, Balyko-Shchuchenka, Lypovets,
Strytivka, Zikratchi, Demivshchyna where we cultivate fields;
• Close cooperation with village councils;
• Cooperation with local residents, regular meetings;
• We support public organizations in Korosten and Kaharlyk;
• Delivering meat to local schools;
• Total spent for social projects in 2018: ca. UAH 600k.
Strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the
world’s cultural and natural heritage
• Sponsorship of traditional local holidays;
• Sponsorship of events associated with Ukrainian heritage (Dobrynya Fest in
Korosten, National Song Contest “Pisenyy Spas” in Zhytomyr, village day in Khalcha).

Goal 12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Reduce waste generation through prevention,
reduction, recycling and reuse
• The Group has all required environmental permits (e.g. emission of pollutants into the air,
reducing of the sanitary zone, permit for special water use);
• We do our best to reduce smell from manure. Exposure to open air is reduced to minimum due to
pipe transportation system. The lagoons at farms are covered with innovative plastic membrane by
by Millag (Denmark);
• Reuse of construction materials in good condition for the new farm construction;
• Manure after handling in manure tanks is disseminated on fields as an organic fertilizer.
Combat desertification, restore degraded land
and soil, including land affected by
desertification, drought and floods, and strive to
achieve a land degradation-neutral world
• Manure is being put into the fields under agreed procedures. We substantially expand quantity of
rented fields for crop production to ensure that the produced manure is spread over sufficient
space;
• We use manure as an organic fertilizer to restore the land balance;
• We strictly follow the order of crop rotation to prevent depletion of the soil and ensure greater
yields;
• We clean the overgrown lands from the bushes and make the landscape for future plantings.

Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and
inclusive institutions at all levels
Substantially reduce corruption and bribery in
all their forms
• We have zero tolerance for corruption and non-transparent practices;
• Anti-Corruption Policy includes obligations for all employees to avoid corrupt practices and make
sure they don`t use mediators who can be engaged in such practices on behalf of our company;
• The Ukrainian regulatory environment authorities are highly corrupt. We constantly try to avoid
and reject requests for facilitation payments from different public authorities. The company`s
management monitors this issue on a regular basis;
• We inform our partners, customers and suppliers on our anti-corruption policy each time we see
risk of their involvement in corruption on behalf of our company.
Contribute to the development and
implementation of international standards
• We cooperate with international and Ukrainian associations represented in Ukraine: ACC, EBA,
ASU, UNIC to share our experience.

separate waste collection.

 Compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements
for the neutralization of manure and use it in future as an
organic fertilizer in the cultivation of crops in the fields.
WATER RESOURCES
 Provision of proper quality water for staff and animals;
discharge of safe sewage.

The “Agenda for the period until 2030” is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which clearly define the world we want - apply to all nations and leave no one behind.

The following picture shows the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030. End poverty in all its forms everywhere Eradicate extreme poverty for all people everywhere • Create new official jobs in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions where we operate; • Employment and development of residents from villages near our farms; • Pay fair salaries above the average market in the regions; • All employees are provided with workplaces, toolset, work clothes necessary for work performance; performance; • All workplaces are equipped with all necessary conveniences (toilet, kitchen, air conditioning, showers at farms, security control systems); • Yearly support to local residents is around 3 Euroо per 1 hectare of arable land; • Village councils support where farms are located can be up to 3-5 k Euros per year. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture Ensure accessibility to balanced nutrition for all population groups • Free lunches for all our employees and coffee-points; • Regular delivery of meat to schools and kindergartens, village councils for village days; and celebrations of traditional holidays. Ensure the development of sustainable food production systems that help maintain ecosystems and gradually improve the quality of land and soil, primarily through innovative technologies • We apply best Danish eco-friendly technologies for pig and crop production which reduce CO2 emissions. We also strictly adhere to the procedure of crop rotation to prevent depletion of soils and ensure greater yield. We choose manure as an organic fertilizer, and apply it according to Danish standards for the restoration of land balance. Maintain the genetic diversity of seeds, cultivated plants and farmed and domesticated animals and their related wild species • We use exclusively Danish genetics, which we constantly support by import of boars from Denmark. apply Danish cross-breeding system – one of the most innovative in the world. This ensures species safety of our breed. Increase investment in rural infrastructure, agricultural research, technology development to enhance agricultural productive capacity in developing countries • We are constantly investing in reconstruction of old Ukrainian farms in compliance with modern EU Danish agricultural standards and requirements. We are also investing in improvement of soils we lease.

Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all • In 2019 we implemented health insurance for all employees; • In 2018 we implemented Labor Protection Policy; • Medicine boxes are available in each office of the Group; • Annual city run marathons (Wizz Air, Nova Poshta Run) for personnel. Substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination • There are a few working areas where our employees are exposed to noise & dust but the major ones are the mechanical workshop, grain dryer and grain storage. At these areas we provided individual protection means for employees. Middle managers are responsible for usage control; • To minimize heavy manual lifting movements we purchased different mechanisms to reduce ergonomic ergonomic issues for our employees; • We don`t use dangerous machinery at the production facilities. We have only a grain dryer. All security precautions are taken; • On a regular basis we conduct safety trainings for our employees on induction period and in with legal requirements; • We provide personal protection equipment for employees from Construction department (helmets, gloves, glasses, special workwear) and those who are engaged in the work with a grain dryer; • We created safe working area for our employees. In case of any emergency the Group adopted instructions and evacuation schemes; • We don`t have any work accidents for the last 3 years; • We successfully passed State Inspection on Labour Protection in April 2016.

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all Ensure equal access for all women and men to affordable and quality technical, vocational and tertiary education, including university • The Group conducts trainings on a regular basis including safety and professional skills; • Developing a special training program for our personnel; • We give loan to our employees for higher education of their children. Substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship • The Group cooperates with the local agricultural colleges. We have established a trainee program for students who study for tractor drivers, machine operators and other agricultural professions. We open opportunities for those students who want to intern in our company, e.g. to drive modern equipment together with best professionals. Build and upgrade education facilities that are child, disability and gender sensitive and provide safe, non-violent, inclusive and effective learning environments for all • We provide donations to rural schools for repairs and stationery.

In the accounting team women are obviously take the leading position. • Company`s management takes regular measures to maintain a healthy atmosphere, to avoid any kind of physical, verbal, sexual and psychological harassment and abuse. Enhance the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communications technology, to promote the empowerment of of women • Training and professional development programs for women; • Supporting employee initiative to gain additional skills to enhance competence; • Health and safety of all women working in the Group. Instead of hazardous chemicals we use manure for soils. Substantially increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity • We do not recycle water. However make continuous efforts to reduce consumption of water in general. The major water source source for our farms is on-site wells. Testing water is performed on a regular basis; • Considerable amount of waste water is being cleaned through special water-cleaning equipment (BioTal, BioBox, etc.) before discharge. Substantially reduce the proportion of youth not in employment, education or training • We cooperate with agricultural colleges. There`s is a trainee program for students to intern in our company and learn more about agro professions from the inside. Protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers, including migrant workers and those in precarious employment. Facilitate orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people • Rights and duties are stated in labour contracts & job descriptions. Employee handbooks are under development; • CEO and middle management hold regular meetings with employees. Employees can freely access to CEO when needed; • Company continuously improves safe working environment both in administration and production premises; • We assist expats to assimilate in Ukraine, help with migration documents and communication with authorities; • Farm workers are provided for a dormitory which is equipped with all necessary conveniences: shower, toilet, kitchen, heating. The dormitory is based on a secured territory; • We provide for a free transfer for our employees to get to work daily; • Free lunches for personnel; • Free washing means (soap, shampoo, cleaning and protection equipment); • 3 parties per year (2 summer picnics and New Year celebrations); • Get-together meeting for middle-management (annually). Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable Develop quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, including regional infrastructure, support economic development and human well- being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all • We support local villages and make donations for infrastructure improvement: renewal of schools, hospitals, roads, gasification and lightening; • Provide donations to the villages Grozyne, Synghai, Khodaky, Holovky, Slobidka, Yosypivka, Chopovychy, Khalcha, Kuzmyntsi, Balyko-Shchuchenka, Lypovets, Strytivka, Zikratchi, Demivshchyna where we cultivate fields; • Close cooperation with village councils; • Cooperation with local residents, regular meetings; • We support public organizations in Korosten and Kaharlyk; • Delivering meat to local schools; • Total spent for social projects in 2018: ca. UAH 600k. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss Reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse • The Group has all required environmental permits (e.g. emission of pollutants into the air, reducing of the sanitary zone, permit for special water use); • We do our best to reduce smell from manure. Exposure to open air is reduced to minimum due to pipe transportation system. The lagoons at farms are covered with innovative plastic membrane by by Millag (Denmark); • Reuse of construction materials in good condition for the new farm construction; • Manure after handling in manure tanks is disseminated on fields as an organic fertilizer. Combat desertification, restore degraded land and soil, including land affected by desertification, drought and floods, and strive to achieve a land degradation-neutral world • Manure is being put into the fields under agreed procedures. We substantially expand quantity of rented fields for crop production to ensure that the produced manure is spread over sufficient space; • We use manure as an organic fertilizer to restore the land balance; • We strictly follow the order of crop rotation to prevent depletion of the soil and ensure greater yields; • We clean the overgrown lands from the bushes and make the landscape for future plantings. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels Substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms • We have zero tolerance for corruption and non-transparent practices; • Anti-Corruption Policy includes obligations for all employees to avoid corrupt practices and make sure they don`t use mediators who can be engaged in such practices on behalf of our company; • The Ukrainian regulatory environment authorities are highly corrupt. We constantly try to avoid and reject requests for facilitation payments from different public authorities. The company`s management monitors this issue on a regular basis; • We inform our partners, customers and suppliers on our anti-corruption policy each time we see risk of their involvement in corruption on behalf of our company. Contribute to the development and implementation of international standards • We cooperate with international and Ukrainian associations represented in Ukraine: ACC, EBA, ASU, UNIC to share our experience.

MANURE  Compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements for the neutralization of manure and use it in future as an organic fertilizer in the cultivation of crops in the fields.
