1. The soup-bubble world.
In my previous letter, I categorically stated that the world you see is having only the surface
vision. So, WHAT YOU SEE IS A THIN FILM OF AN ITEM.
Shall explain you with an example?
Take a surface.
Shall we go down to the Atomic stage?
Sun reflect only on the surface layer of Atoms forming a vision which is thin layered & direct
towards eyes for you to see.
So, what you see is NOT a whole bulk of an item but, a surface coated vision.
Though we see like this, our mind says “no”, you are seeing the whole bulk so that you tend to
love, crave or generate “Raga” towards an item & you develop “Dosa”, anger, hate, hatred
towards an item.
That’s why the Lord Buddha has revealed that the world you see is having a soup bubble
appearance only.
Let’s take 5 divisions of a single thought.
1. Rupa
2. Vedana
3. Sanna
4. Sankara
5. Vinnana. The Buddha said that all are illusions giving you 5 examples for each an every
one & idea is to show you that what you are seeing has NO meaning.(read thripitaka).
Shall I explain it in details?
Let’s take a picture you see.
This story is a little deep than seeing. The picture absorbs from your eyes will be shown to you
by the formation of 5” Skandas” in mind or Rupa, Vedana, Sanna, Sankara, Vinnana at any one
moment so that you can see your picture. BUT IT HAS NO SUBSTANCE TO FEEL OR
CATCH, it has an illusive or soup bubble type of a formation. But by taking the same matter in
mind, in keeping with the vision you saw, the mind develops a chain of thoughts (CHITTA
VEETI) & tells you that what you saw is NOT a soup bubble type but it is the complete item.
See! The gravity of the fraud vision.
In the case of other 4 senses, the situation is the same.
2. In brief, what you see is having a film- coated vision but the mind tells you that it is real. (Read
Abidamma Pitaka – Skanda Waggaya)
Thank you!
