Chatesque is not a ‘real’ site!
We created it to as way for us to
test and improve our product
experience and functionality.
It is live and fully functional, but
not available to the public.
This guide will introduce you to
Kpass and how we are going to
help brands create safe, lasting
and meaningful experiences for
kids online.

Kpass is the digital identity for
Kids and Parents.
Our implementation is built on
the same industry standards
(oAuth 2.0) that Facebook,
Google and Linkedin use for their
single sign on products.
We take the onerous technical
burdens off of brands to safely,
quickly and efficiently connect
them with their target audiences

We use a hosted co-branded login screen on
a secure Kpass Domain to prompt users to
login or signup
We are working hard on the cobranded design of
this page to reduce drop-off to zero.
To this point we used a ghosted jpg background of
the partner site and our cobranding message above.

Kpass’ age gate works for any user. If they
are under 13, we collect parent information,
if over 13, we collect information from that
user.

Quick Child Login
We believe that the registration
flow for kids should be as minimal
as possible. We want them to get
back to our partner sites as soon
as possible, rather than toil
through a Kpass login process
After an <13 child registers, we
send our partner an anonymous
hash key that allows the user to
explore the sites ‘lite’ experience
without passing over any PII

Easy Notifications
Parents are notified via either
email or text that message that
their child has created a Kpass
account.
We welcome parents to our site
with a video (in process) and
their kid’s user name and site
invoked

We engineered the Parents Registration flow to be as quick and painless as possible
Designed to be completed in less than 90 seconds, we give parents the information they
need to know, and let them get back to their lives.

Once Registered, Parents are now
eligible to receive notifications
from Kpass via SMS or email
when their child shares or
accesses new products or
information.
These notifications are 100%
customizable by our brand
partners and can be used to
communicate new marketing
campaigns, product changes and
even when a child uploads a piece
of UGC.

Kpass gives parents (and their Kids) access to all of the information they have accessed
and shared on Kpass. We believe in complete transparency and will work to provide
our users the best tools to understand their information shared online.
