firestop filler boards are an all-in-one system :
- They replace the expansion joint formwork usually used on site (alveolar cardboard,
polystyrene…)
- They make the joint fireproof (EI 240 – 4-hour fire resistance) on the whole thickness
of the slab or the wall. Fire can thus come from any side.

7. OTHER ADVANTAGES
Junction between two boards
The patented linking system guarantees the integrity
of the product at junctions. It also guarantees the same
acoustic and fire performance on the whole length, eases
installation and improves airtightness.
Thermal and acoustic insulation

firestop filler boards allow a good
thermal (lambda 0.039 as per report n° RA.15.36-EB-V2
dated october 25th
2015) and acoustic (up to 43 dB
reduction as per report n° BEB2.F.6023 dated July 9th
2015) insulation. They can therefore be used in High
Environmental Quality buildings. Official reports are
available upon request.
Adhesion to concrete
As per their installation method, concrete is always
poured on at least one side of the VEDAFEU FB©
firestop
filler boards which guarantees a perfect adhesion with
no risk to see the product fall with time. Moreover, the
high density of the wool gives an excellent resistance
to infiltration and physical agressions.
Ancillary products
No ancillary product is mandatory to ensure fire
resistance.
