Reflection of a Persuasive Essay by Vickie Hale In my revision, I decided to incorporate actionable feedback from the feedback I received. The
feedback I received was that my essay needed more clarification, I choose to use this feedback to help make my argument more developed, I wanted to
create a better thought out essay and I worked on the clarification of my argument as well as renewed my research. With that, I did some critical
thinking to help work through the weak areas of my essay which was the structure and syntax. Therefore, I incorporated these suggestions because

argument, it took me a while to come find a side to an argument that wasn't vague. Because, I usually write in a creative way, which does not

outcome, but with persuasive writing, you are trying to get your readers to not only agree with your side of the argument but to see what and why

The article discusses that even though Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu was for Romney, President Obama did not use political revenge
against him. Newton–small (2012) stated "Obama also spent time persuading Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy to use his sway over Hamas –
Morsy's political party, the Muslim Brotherhood, spawned Hamas years ago – to bring about a cease–fire" (p. 1). The article concludes with stating that
President Obama may win a Nobel Prize for his attempts made to bring peace to the Middle East. Differences The newspaper article simply stated
facts on the presidents and the years of attempts made by the United States. It gave a historic chart of positives and negatives. It also did not show any

positive attempts made by President Obama. The article also gave much credit to all the efforts made from 2009 up to now. The Time article only

"Framing" is another persuasion technique used to sell us items we do not need. For instance, I am dead set that my son must always be in a Britax
car seat, in fact just this past week I moved him into their newest model with side airbags because it increases his change of surviving a roll–over crash
by 15%. They rate the highest on safety always and I will not take anything less. These seats also cost around $300.00, but nothing is too much for the
safety of my son. This is an example of gain–framing working on me. It worked very effectively. The 15% more likely chance of my son surviving a
roll–over crash sold me straight away. I did not care about anything else. Before I moved to Germany I drove a very big truck. I loved my truck so
much, but in Europe large gas guzzling vehicles are not appreciated to say the least. When I went to look at a more European–friendly the sales man
was more than happy to oblige me. He showed me their newest released vehicle, top of the line model with extra turbo boost so it would be more
Autobahn friendly. He also showed me how their vehicle was one of the only that could be switched to eco–mode which would save me a ton of
money in gas. And then he assured me my warranty would be extended to cover me with their European counterparts, which he told me no other car
company does. I thought this was fantastic, and I was sold! This is a perfect example of loss–framing.
