Black lives matter movement
Black live matter is an international activist movement. Activist in this movement are generally the people who are from African community. This
campaign is against violence, social racism, brutality towards black people. This all started back in February 26, four years ago, when Trayvon Martin
was fatally shot. The boy was not killed by cop but was killed by neighborhood watchman who claimed that he killed 17 years old teen in self–defense.
In 2013 three of them, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi all black women, all friends created #BlackLivesMatters when Florida jury find
Zimmerman innocent of murder. This was actually started as...show more content...

How I Use A Research Paper Essay
There are few things in this world that I hate more than having to create a research paper. I usually don 't get to choose the topic, I have to spend lots
of time in the library, and I usually wait until the last minute, so the whole ordeal is worse than it should have been. Well, there are a few things I
taught myself to do to keep my research papers flowing and much easier to organize and compile. These are the ideas that I use every single time for
any type of sourced writing, including writing articles for Associated Content.
Create a notes file: This is the ultimate tool for my writing. When I have found a source for my paper I take it with me to the computer. While I 'm
reading the portion of this book, or encyclopedia, or Internet article, I have a writing program open and I write down paragraphs and bullet points of
the article in my own words, highlighting key concepts. This is separated by sources so when I 'm writing I can quickly put down sources, and after I
use an article I create my insert for my bibliography. If you keep up with your bibliography notes, when it comes to make your works cited page, you
're already done!
Create headings for your notes: Give your notes from your notes file and copy and paste them into categories. Give each category a heading as to
the general idea that groups them together. For example, on my paper in how the Nazi party controlled the people of Germany, I made a group called
"Fear Factor." I put all my notes regarding fear in

Writing Exercise Research Paper
Simple exercises for writers.
Some writers usually write for more than eight hours a day. Others write for two or more hours per day. Whatever the case may be, writing exercises
are a great way to keep your writing skills and ideas fresh. They stimulate the mind and you get to 'tap into' your creative side. Doing writing exercises
every day or at least every other day can help you unwind from a long day of writing .You should always learn some good exercises for writers. This
can always keep your circulation going and so that you can be a writer for a very long time. If you don't move enough, you can end up with lots of
medical troubles. That's why it's important to get up and move around if you're used to sitting for long periods of time with no movement, as writers
often do.
You should always try to get your blood pumping every few hours. Set your alarm and get up and move around when it goes off. You don't have to
go running or jumping up and down or anything, you just need to get a little air moving through your lungs. If you can do this, you'll see your
writing get better and better each time. It's common for the words to slow down for us when we've been working for a long time at one sitting. You
may even feel yourself getting...show more content...
You don't have to go outdoors, as you can do exercises in the comfort of your own house. Some good exercises for writers to do are anything that
involve getting the blood going again. Do some jumping jacks in place, jog in one place for a while or take the dog for a walk. These are all great
ways to get some movement in your arms and legs. Not only that, but that cloud over your brain will lift and you'll find yourself thinking much more
clearly. You can do push–ups, squats, crunches, or anything else fitness related, but you must get out of that chair. You must stand up and move
around. If you don't, your blood pools in one place for too long and it could get

Read Aloud Research Paper
Read alouds are important component of the Elementary Language Arts classroom because it helps students with new vocabulary words,
comprehension skills and encourages them to like and participate in the reading. Read alouds allow students to ask questions about the story so they
can get a better understanding of what they are reading. When a teacher chooses a specific strategy to share with the class, she is asking them to play
close attention and explore the strategy with him/her. It allows students to use their listening skills and pay close attention to listen for the words that
rhyme or to make connections to their own life.

Park Ranger Research Paper
The park ranger's job is a very interesting but, involves many possible tasks. Park rangers are mainly responsible to protect the parks and wildlife
around us. Their work place is in the wilderness but also in city parks, historical sites, nature preserves and recreation areas. Park rangers offer a
wealth of knowledge to tourist, campers, large groups. They prepare exhibits and information over the park sites, make conservation programs, and
lead tours and nature walks for the visitors. Rangers are also involved in helping to conserve the lands they protect, including studying wildlife
behavior and monitoring air and water quality to determine if the ecosystem is in good shape. In massive National parks, rangers may search for lost
travelers, rescue stranded mountain climbers, supervise fire–fighting crews and tend to injured park guests. Rangers...show more content...
Park Rangers spend most of their time outdoors, it is important for me to be physically fit and have strong communication skills to interact with
others. Also Park Rangers should be willing to relocate for a job so I can work closely with the direct supervisors in the National park or service
area I go to. The Park Ranger job has become less available to find because of the financial cut to National forests and parks in 2007. The outlook
for any student wanting to enter this field is very little. Anyone that is wanting to really become a Park Ranger needs to get at least some experience
in the parks and forests with NOLS courses to have on their resume. Also, volunteering for any park, etc. would be a great way to help themselves
into getting the job faster. There are four critical stages to follow in becoming a Park Ranger: 1.Research park ranger requirements for your state
2.Complete education requirements for your park ranger

Hunting Research Paper
Justin Luke English III Honors Mrs. Ledy 11/27/11 Hunting Hunting is a common activity all around the world, and if performed properly, can
have many benefits to us and the rest of the planet. The art of hunting has been around since the beginning of time. Living off of the land used to be
a necessity across the world, until the mass production of food came along. In America, people do not usually need to hunt to survive. However, the
population of animal species needs to be controlled. Too many of one type of animal can cause a drastic change to any ecosystem. Food supplies
decline quickly, leaving many animals without food. Hunting can help keep the population of a group of animals at a good number, making the lives

Too many positive effects come from hunting to take action based on the negative ones, which are mostly opinions, not facts. Many people believe
hunting to be a cruel activity. With any activity in this world, there will be those who do not perform it properly and can damage the reputation
those who do it right try to uphold. If hunting is performed how it is made to, it is not a cruel sport and should not be looked upon in shame.
Between 60% to 76% of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Therefore, 60% to 76% of Americans believe what the Bible states. "Then God
said, "Let us make man in our image, in our like–ness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the
earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."(Gen . 1.26) Therefore, around 70% percent of America believes that men should rule over
all of the creatures of the earth (animals), giving them the choice to hunt throughout the world. On another topic, Most Americans eat meat, which
means that most Americans condone the use of slaughterhouses. These factories are extremely cruel to animals and treat them with severe disrespect,
killing more animals in a day than most hunters would kill in a year. Many people consider hunting dangerous. This is not necessarily correct. Before
any person is legally allowed to hunt in most states, they must undergo a required

Photosynthesis Research Paper
Photosynthesis is the processes that captures energy from the sunlight to male sugars that store chemical energy. and cell respiration releases
chemical energy from sugars and other carbon based molecules to make atp when oxygen is presented. and atp is the molecule that transfers energy
from the breakdown of food molecules to cell processes. With all of these process they work together to capture energy by the sun and convert it into
everyg of life. It starts with the photosynthesis. First, the carbon dioxide and oxygen will enter the leaves in plants through the stomata. then the water
travels from the roots and will go into the vascular system. then chloroplast absorbs sunlight. However, there's 2 part in hopothesis. The parts re light
dependant and light independent....show more content...
And the light independent happens to make atp used to make the glucose. Atp is very important since cells use it for functions. however, with
photosynthesis the cell respiration and photosynthesis chloroplast absorb the energy from sunlight and build sugras, then the mitochondria will release
the chemical energy to make atp. the cell respiration starts with 3 carbon molecules they enter cell respiration in mitochondria, and the energy carrying
molecules transfer energy to electron transport. so next the energy carrying molecule which atp molecules are produced. last heat and water are

location. Those with experience earn more. Certain industries might pay the technician more. In addition, those with experience working for a large
corporation in a major city would earn more than an inexperienced technician that worked for a small business in a small town. How much do
computer technicians make per hour on average? Well, the range is from about $10.00 to 23.95 per

National Park Service Research Paper
More than 900 species known on planet Earth have gone extinct (Endangered). Some, however, have been saved from extinction. One big
contributor to this cause is the National Park Service, an organization founded in 1916 to protect the remaining wild places in our world. Now the
National Park Service preserves over 6000 areas throughout the world, with over 275 million visitors each year (United, "What"; National,
"National"). The National Park Service plays an essential role in preserving wildlife on Earth by teaching and acting to preserve species.
By allowing visitors into the parks, the National Park Service plays a vital part in educating the world about its wildlife. The Service has a Junior
Ranger program that teaches children all over to "Explore, Learn, and Protect". This program teaches the next generation of our planet to appreciate
the wild, untamed regions of the Earth and explains why and how we need to preserve them (United, "Junior"). By making and managing trails and
signs that will keep both humans and wildlife safe, the National Park...show more content...
The National Park Service's motto is, in other words, a pledge to preserve Earth's natural resources before anything else– put preserving wildlife as
their first priority (United, What). They have shown many times over that they will stick to this motto. One example is of the Mexican long–nosed bat,
a species whose only home is now the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park (United, "Endangered"). The Service works especially hard to
follow the Endangered Species Act of 1973 which defines any endangered species as a plant or animal in danger of dying out in a large portion of its
range at the very least. It defines a threatened species as one that is likely to soon become endangered. All decisions to do with saving an animal are
based on this act, which rescues many animals each year (United,

Personal Manifesto Research Paper
Personal Manifesto
Somebody once told me it is okay to be average as long as you are a good person. Life is short, do as many things as you can to live a happy life and
do all the things you aspire to do before time runs out.
One evening while I was on vacation visiting my grandparents we were sitting around the dinner table eating a homemade meal made by my grandma.
It was my mom, my sister, my foreign exchange student, two of my good friends, and I all eating dinner together. Dinner had come to an end and one
of my friends and I were still sitting at the table with my grandpa. He has always been a very inspirational person in my life and most of the things he

Even being an average person can be very difficult. If you look at a large amount of people in this world, they are average or below average in
most things they do. No one can be good at everything, so don't ever think you have to be. Feeling pressured to be great at everything is one thing
no one should ever have to go through. All it seems to do is tear down people's' self esteem creating more reserved and quiet people. Life is hard,
and if it were meant to be easy, everyone would be good at everything and the majority of things would be meaningless. So, what would be the point of
living a meaningless life? Take every situation in life and live it with the intention that it will be the

What I Have Learned About Research
What I have learned about research is that it is a process, a scientific process that psychologist and scientist develop that includes many different
approaches and that is carefully peer reviewed and evaluated. There is what is called the Scientific Approach where scientist have an idea or theory
and based on their observation will either support the theory or the theory can be falsified by their peers. Data also goes through a review period
before it is published in a scientific journal by scientist who have the knowledge and expertise to evaluate it.
I also learned the difference between basic and applied research where basic research focuses mostly on things such as emotion, cognition, social
behavior, personality development, learning, and neuropsychology. Basic research will be more helpful for answering fundamental questions about the
nature of behavior. Applied research however, addresses more of a specific problem with a possible solution. Program evaluation covers a large area of
applied research. Program evaluation assesses the social reforms and innovations that occur in government, education, the criminal justice system,
industry, health care, and mental health institutions. When discussing behavioral research it is imperative to note the precedents that it has in many
fields and the significance of the applications to public policy.
A variable is referred to as any event, situation, behavior, or individual characteristic that changes or varies. Any variable

10th Grade Research Paper
The 10th grade was full of new learning experiences. Most of these experiences came from books and studying. By far I learned the most from
school which topics included Algebra, Geometry, U.S. History, World Literature, English writing, Home Economics, Religion, and Human Anatomy.
The 10th grade also brought me learning experiences from less didactic means, such as family and life. One of the first subjects I tackled in the 10th
grade was Math. Initially I covered Geometry learning about polygons, angles, and even sine, cosine, and tangent. Later on, we switched to Algebra
2, which progressed my learning from Algebra 1. We advanced variables, graphing, and more geometry, but, my favorite thing added to it was
chemistry addition and chemical equations. Several other subjects I studied included Religion English, and Literature. In religion, I read many bible
stories that I didn't even know. My favorite bible chapter was Exodus because it described...show more content...
In Home Economics I learned how to care for myself and for my family. I furthered my knowledge of cooking, car maintenance, banking event
planning and child care. In Human Anatomy I learned all about the human body, inside and out. Some of the topics covered included how asthma
is triggered, blood types, how the reproductive system works, the nervous system, and how the brain works. Not only had I learned a lot by reading,
I did some experiments with human anatomy too. I looked at the cells of the organs under the microscope, and performed experiments on bone
tissue. The most notable experiments I conducted dealt with dissection. I dissected a cow eye and heart, along with a juvenile pig. The pig was the
hardest dissection for me because it was a young specimen and it was difficult to cut into making it challenging. In the end, I did learn a great deal
about our body and how its functions are similar to those of

Shark Research Paper
Humans are just like sharks. Humans eat meat they have live babies and sharks make mistakes just like humans. Sharks are very interesting creatures
but people don't give them a chance because people make them sound like they are terrible beasts. Many people are more likely to get killed by a car
crash then by a shark. If people keep killing sharks for fins there will be no more sharks.
Many people call sharks beasts, terrible things, killers, but they are not. For instance sharks need to eat to just like humans. Sharks can eat all day.
When sharks eat too much they throw it up and eat more. Sharks fend for themselves when they are hungry they might find other sharks and eat them.

People visceral when they see a shark and they try to capture and kill it. Only some people want to protect sharks. Sharks help by keeping the fish
population down First, we can protect sharks by doing little things such as stop finning sharks, picking up our trash. Next people destroy
environments by oil spills. Not picking up trash. Last if people don't stop finning sharks and not throwing their trash away our environment will
smell bad and we will have no sharks left. Many people learn about sharks and see their real beauty on Ocearch. They look at how they were tagged
and where they have traveled. People tag sharks so that others can learn more about them and that's why Ocearch was made.

Research Paper On Jupiter
Did you know that there is a planet in our own solar system that can fit over 1,300 Earths inside of itself? Well this planet is Jupiter, it's the fifth
planet from the sun and the largest by far. There are a lot of interesting things about this mysterious planet, for example, there is a great big red spot in
it's atmosphere, it's a storm that's been going for over 300 years! It's bigger than earth and mars combined!
Jupiter is really bright, so bright that you can see it at night without a telescope. So if you ask who discovered this planet, there really is no answer.
NASA says that the ancients discovered it back in ancient times, it could be true because they only thing they needed would have been there eyes.
There was a chief ancient roman god named...show more content...

So in this case, Jupiter cannot support any life what so ever. But Jupiter's tempeture is pretty rough too, it usually stays between –163 to –121 degrees
Celsius. Pretty cold considering it's only the fifth planet from the sun.
Jupiter's atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and partly helium, 14% helium and 86% hydrogen. Jupiter also has 66 known moons and there still may
be some that are yet to be discovered. The biggest moons are Europa, Ganymede, IO, and Callisto. Jupiter's ring system is very hard to see, it's mostly
made of dust. The main ring is only 19 miles thick and about 4000 miles wide. These rings were discovered in 1979 by a spacecraft known as Voyager
1.
One interesting thing about Jupiter is if it were 80 times greater, it would be a star, because it is pretty much made up of the same sources as stars. It's
mostly hydrogen and helium in a liquid form. Some people think of Jupiter as a mini solar system because of all of it's orbiting moons. So now you
know more about this massive gas giant, so if you have a telescope, go outside on a calm night and look for a big bright star, it may be

Anxiety Disorders Research Paper
Research Paper: Anxiety Disorders Stephanie Hathaway Liberty University
Abstract Anxiety Disorders are characterized by many symptoms and often associated with depressive tendencies. Although the majority are produced
in a person based off of their genetic material, other influences exist environmentally that can encourage or discourage the severity of the symptoms
and prognosis it has on one's overall well–being. Early diagnosis and a systematic combination of treatments can help reduce the tensions and
encourage a more normal life than what was previously experienced by the person with the disorder.
Introduction Anxiety is a normal part of the human process that involves a reaction to adverse reaction...show more content...
The excess of worry and fear is only heightened due to the fact that physical ailments are normally present. If a person with this disorder is concerned
over a health related matter, the unexplained physical conditions that are occurring only reinforce the beliefs and worry that is taking place inside their
head.
Social Anxiety Disorder This type of Anxiety Disorder has a direct correlation relating to social situations. A person experiencing this disorder has a
chronic fear of other people's perceptions of them. They are especially likely to avoid any situation where they are being observed by others such
as giving presentations or activities that must be performed in front of an audience, large or small. In extreme circumstances where social anxiety
disorder exists, a person will avoid social situations all together and will become a "hermit" in their own individual abode. This disorder is
impairing to one's normal life functioning because it often affects a person's ability to perform the essential duties in a work environment. It also
deters them from engaging in typical conversations because the fear of being embarrassed or judged is so extreme (Fleming, 2012). The difference
between social anxiety disorder and other disorders is that a person is capable of enjoying themselves. This is because they are not impacted as
severely physically since their fear is only stimulated in the event that they will have to be

Black Live Matter Research Paper

  • 1. Black Live Matter Research Paper Sunaina Rayamajhi Prof. Tracie Hernandez ENGL–1302–71504 09/29/2016 Black lives matter movement Black live matter is an international activist movement. Activist in this movement are generally the people who are from African community. This campaign is against violence, social racism, brutality towards black people. This all started back in February 26, four years ago, when Trayvon Martin was fatally shot. The boy was not killed by cop but was killed by neighborhood watchman who claimed that he killed 17 years old teen in self–defense. In 2013 three of them, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi all black women, all friends created #BlackLivesMatters when Florida jury find Zimmerman innocent of murder. • 2. How I Use A Research Paper Essay There are few things in this world that I hate more than having to create a research paper. I usually don 't get to choose the topic, I have to spend lots of time in the library, and I usually wait until the last minute, so the whole ordeal is worse than it should have been. Well, there are a few things I taught myself to do to keep my research papers flowing and much easier to organize and compile. These are the ideas that I use every single time for any type of sourced writing, including writing articles for Associated Content. Create a notes file: This is the ultimate tool for my writing. When I have found a source for my paper I take it with me to the computer. While I 'm reading the portion of this book, or encyclopedia, or Internet article, I have a writing program open and I write down paragraphs and bullet points of the article in my own words, highlighting key concepts. This is separated by sources so when I 'm writing I can quickly put down sources, and after I use an article I create my insert for my bibliography. If you keep up with your bibliography notes, when it comes to make your works cited page, you 're already done! Create headings for your notes: Give your notes from your notes file and copy and paste them into categories. Give each category a heading as to the general idea that groups them together. For example, on my paper in how the Nazi party controlled the people of Germany, I made a group called "Fear Factor." I put all my notes regarding fear in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Writing Exercise Research Paper Simple exercises for writers. Some writers usually write for more than eight hours a day. Others write for two or more hours per day. Whatever the case may be, writing exercises are a great way to keep your writing skills and ideas fresh. They stimulate the mind and you get to 'tap into' your creative side. Doing writing exercises every day or at least every other day can help you unwind from a long day of writing .You should always learn some good exercises for writers. This can always keep your circulation going and so that you can be a writer for a very long time. If you don't move enough, you can end up with lots of medical troubles. That's why it's important to get up and move around if you're used to sitting for long periods of time with no movement, as writers often do. You should always try to get your blood pumping every few hours. Set your alarm and get up and move around when it goes off. You don't have to go running or jumping up and down or anything, you just need to get a little air moving through your lungs. If you can do this, you'll see your writing get better and better each time. It's common for the words to slow down for us when we've been working for a long time at one sitting. You may even feel yourself getting...show more content... You don't have to go outdoors, as you can do exercises in the comfort of your own house. Some good exercises for writers to do are anything that involve getting the blood going again. Do some jumping jacks in place, jog in one place for a while or take the dog for a walk. These are all great ways to get some movement in your arms and legs. Not only that, but that cloud over your brain will lift and you'll find yourself thinking much more clearly. You can do push–ups, squats, crunches, or anything else fitness related, but you must get out of that chair. You must stand up and move around. If you don't, your blood pools in one place for too long and it could get Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Read Aloud Research Paper Read alouds are important component of the Elementary Language Arts classroom because it helps students with new vocabulary words, comprehension skills and encourages them to like and participate in the reading. Read alouds allow students to ask questions about the story so they can get a better understanding of what they are reading. When a teacher chooses a specific strategy to share with the class, she is asking them to play close attention and explore the strategy with him/her. It allows students to use their listening skills and pay close attention to listen for the words that rhyme or to make connections to their own life. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Park Ranger Research Paper The park ranger's job is a very interesting but, involves many possible tasks. Park rangers are mainly responsible to protect the parks and wildlife around us. Their work place is in the wilderness but also in city parks, historical sites, nature preserves and recreation areas. Park rangers offer a wealth of knowledge to tourist, campers, large groups. They prepare exhibits and information over the park sites, make conservation programs, and lead tours and nature walks for the visitors. Rangers are also involved in helping to conserve the lands they protect, including studying wildlife behavior and monitoring air and water quality to determine if the ecosystem is in good shape. In massive National parks, rangers may search for lost travelers, rescue stranded mountain climbers, supervise fire–fighting crews and tend to injured park guests. Rangers...show more content... Park Rangers spend most of their time outdoors, it is important for me to be physically fit and have strong communication skills to interact with others. Also Park Rangers should be willing to relocate for a job so I can work closely with the direct supervisors in the National park or service area I go to. The Park Ranger job has become less available to find because of the financial cut to National forests and parks in 2007. The outlook for any student wanting to enter this field is very little. Anyone that is wanting to really become a Park Ranger needs to get at least some experience in the parks and forests with NOLS courses to have on their resume. Also, volunteering for any park, etc. would be a great way to help themselves into getting the job faster. There are four critical stages to follow in becoming a Park Ranger: 1.Research park ranger requirements for your state 2.Complete education requirements for your park ranger Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Hunting Research Paper Justin Luke English III Honors Mrs. Ledy 11/27/11 Hunting Hunting is a common activity all around the world, and if performed properly, can have many benefits to us and the rest of the planet. The art of hunting has been around since the beginning of time. Living off of the land used to be a necessity across the world, until the mass production of food came along. In America, people do not usually need to hunt to survive. However, the population of animal species needs to be controlled. Too many of one type of animal can cause a drastic change to any ecosystem. Food supplies decline quickly, leaving many animals without food. Hunting can help keep the population of a group of animals at a good number, making the lives of the other...show more content... Too many positive effects come from hunting to take action based on the negative ones, which are mostly opinions, not facts. Many people believe hunting to be a cruel activity. With any activity in this world, there will be those who do not perform it properly and can damage the reputation those who do it right try to uphold. If hunting is performed how it is made to, it is not a cruel sport and should not be looked upon in shame. Between 60% to 76% of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Therefore, 60% to 76% of Americans believe what the Bible states. "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our like–ness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."(Gen . 1.26) Therefore, around 70% percent of America believes that men should rule over all of the creatures of the earth (animals), giving them the choice to hunt throughout the world. On another topic, Most Americans eat meat, which means that most Americans condone the use of slaughterhouses. These factories are extremely cruel to animals and treat them with severe disrespect, killing more animals in a day than most hunters would kill in a year. Many people consider hunting dangerous. This is not necessarily correct. Before any person is legally allowed to hunt in most states, they must undergo a required Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Photosynthesis Research Paper Photosynthesis is the processes that captures energy from the sunlight to male sugars that store chemical energy. and cell respiration releases chemical energy from sugars and other carbon based molecules to make atp when oxygen is presented. and atp is the molecule that transfers energy from the breakdown of food molecules to cell processes. With all of these process they work together to capture energy by the sun and convert it into everyg of life. It starts with the photosynthesis. First, the carbon dioxide and oxygen will enter the leaves in plants through the stomata. then the water travels from the roots and will go into the vascular system. then chloroplast absorbs sunlight. However, there's 2 part in hopothesis. The parts re light dependant and light independent....show more content... And the light independent happens to make atp used to make the glucose. Atp is very important since cells use it for functions. however, with photosynthesis the cell respiration and photosynthesis chloroplast absorb the energy from sunlight and build sugras, then the mitochondria will release the chemical energy to make atp. the cell respiration starts with 3 carbon molecules they enter cell respiration in mitochondria, and the energy carrying molecules transfer energy to electron transport. so next the energy carrying molecule which atp molecules are produced. last heat and water are released as waste Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 9. National Park Service Research Paper More than 900 species known on planet Earth have gone extinct (Endangered). Some, however, have been saved from extinction. One big contributor to this cause is the National Park Service, an organization founded in 1916 to protect the remaining wild places in our world. Now the National Park Service preserves over 6000 areas throughout the world, with over 275 million visitors each year (United, "What"; National, "National"). The National Park Service plays an essential role in preserving wildlife on Earth by teaching and acting to preserve species. By allowing visitors into the parks, the National Park Service plays a vital part in educating the world about its wildlife. The Service has a Junior Ranger program that teaches children all over to "Explore, Learn, and Protect". This program teaches the next generation of our planet to appreciate the wild, untamed regions of the Earth and explains why and how we need to preserve them (United, "Junior"). They have shown many times over that they will stick to this motto. One example is of the Mexican long–nosed bat, a species whose only home is now the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park (United, "Endangered"). The Service works especially hard to follow the Endangered Species Act of 1973 which defines any endangered species as a plant or animal in danger of dying out in a large portion of its range at the very least. It defines a threatened species as one that is likely to soon become endangered. • 11. Personal Manifesto Research Paper Personal Manifesto Somebody once told me it is okay to be average as long as you are a good person. Life is short, do as many things as you can to live a happy life and do all the things you aspire to do before time runs out. One evening while I was on vacation visiting my grandparents we were sitting around the dinner table eating a homemade meal made by my grandma. It was my mom, my sister, my foreign exchange student, two of my good friends, and I all eating dinner together. Dinner had come to an end and one of my friends and I were still sitting at the table with my grandpa. No one can be good at everything, so don't ever think you have to be. Feeling pressured to be great at everything is one thing no one should ever have to go through. All it seems to do is tear down people's' self esteem creating more reserved and quiet people. • 12. What I Have Learned About Research What I have learned about research is that it is a process, a scientific process that psychologist and scientist develop that includes many different approaches and that is carefully peer reviewed and evaluated. There is what is called the Scientific Approach where scientist have an idea or theory and based on their observation will either support the theory or the theory can be falsified by their peers. Data also goes through a review period before it is published in a scientific journal by scientist who have the knowledge and expertise to evaluate it. I also learned the difference between basic and applied research where basic research focuses mostly on things such as emotion, cognition, social behavior, personality development, learning, and neuropsychology. Basic research will be more helpful for answering fundamental questions about the nature of behavior. Applied research however, addresses more of a specific problem with a possible solution. Program evaluation covers a large area of applied research. Program evaluation assesses the social reforms and innovations that occur in government, education, the criminal justice system, industry, health care, and mental health institutions. When discussing behavioral research it is imperative to note the precedents that it has in many fields and the significance of the applications to public policy. By far I learned the most from school which topics included Algebra, Geometry, U.S. History, World Literature, English writing, Home Economics, Religion, and Human Anatomy. The 10th grade also brought me learning experiences from less didactic means, such as family and life. One of the first subjects I tackled in the 10th grade was Math. Initially I covered Geometry learning about polygons, angles, and even sine, cosine, and tangent. Later on, we switched to Algebra 2, which progressed my learning from Algebra 1. We advanced variables, graphing, and more geometry, but, my favorite thing added to it was chemistry addition and chemical equations. Several other subjects I studied included Religion English, and Literature. In religion, I read many bible stories that I didn't even know. My favorite bible chapter was Exodus because it described...show more content... In Home Economics I learned how to care for myself and for my family. I furthered my knowledge of cooking, car maintenance, banking event planning and child care. In Human Anatomy I learned all about the human body, inside and out. Some of the topics covered included how asthma is triggered, blood types, how the reproductive system works, the nervous system, and how the brain works. Not only had I learned a lot by reading, I did some experiments with human anatomy too. I looked at the cells of the organs under the microscope, and performed experiments on bone tissue. The most notable experiments I conducted dealt with dissection. I dissected a cow eye and heart, along with a juvenile pig. The pig was the hardest dissection for me because it was a young specimen and it was difficult to cut into making it challenging. In the end, I did learn a great deal about our body and how its functions are similar to those of Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Sharks are very interesting creatures but people don't give them a chance because people make them sound like they are terrible beasts. Many people are more likely to get killed by a car crash then by a shark. Sharks eat squid, shrimp, sardines, tuna. They can get up to 15ft long. Next blue sharks like to move around so they don't stay in one spot for long. At last watching the movie jaws made people have many opinions that are oncel sharks. People find sharks very threatening but they are just like us. People visceral when they see a shark and they try to capture and kill it. Only some people want to protect sharks. Sharks help by keeping the fish population down First, we can protect sharks by doing little things such as stop finning sharks, picking up our trash. Next people destroy environments by oil spills. Not picking up trash. Last if people don't stop finning sharks and not throwing their trash away our environment will smell bad and we will have no sharks left. Many people learn about sharks and see their real beauty on Ocearch. They look at how they were tagged and where they have traveled. People tag sharks so that others can learn more about them and that's why Ocearch was made. Works Cited Kennington, Tammy. Blue Sharks. Ann Arbor, MI: Cherry Lake Pub., 2014. • 15. Junior Research Paper Topics Junior Research Paper I chose to research the University of California Riverside for several reasons. I wanted to attend a four year university that was in California, was reasonably close to home, had similar weather that I was used to, and had a large campus with a medium to large amount of students. UCR seemed to fit that description best, and it appealed to me most because of how close to home it is. • 16. Research Paper On Jupiter Did you know that there is a planet in our own solar system that can fit over 1,300 Earths inside of itself? Well this planet is Jupiter, it's the fifth planet from the sun and the largest by far. There are a lot of interesting things about this mysterious planet, for example, there is a great big red spot in it's atmosphere, it's a storm that's been going for over 300 years! The liquid metallic, and again is made up of hydrogen and helium 4.The icy mantle. 5.The rocky core. So in this case, Jupiter cannot support any life what so ever. But Jupiter's tempeture is pretty rough too, it usually stays between –163 to –121 degrees Celsius. Pretty cold considering it's only the fifth planet from the sun. Jupiter's atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and partly helium, 14% helium and 86% hydrogen. Jupiter also has 66 known moons and there still may be some that are yet to be discovered. The biggest moons are Europa, Ganymede, IO, and Callisto. Jupiter's ring system is very hard to see, it's mostly made of dust. The main ring is only 19 miles thick and about 4000 miles wide. These rings were discovered in 1979 by a spacecraft known as Voyager 1. One interesting thing about Jupiter is if it were 80 times greater, it would be a star, because it is pretty much made up of the same sources as stars. It's mostly hydrogen and helium in a liquid form. Some people think of Jupiter as a mini solar system because of all of it's orbiting moons. So now you know more about this massive gas giant, so if you have a telescope, go outside on a calm night and look for a big bright star, it may be Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Although the majority are produced in a person based off of their genetic material, other influences exist environmentally that can encourage or discourage the severity of the symptoms and prognosis it has on one's overall well–being. Early diagnosis and a systematic combination of treatments can help reduce the tensions and encourage a more normal life than what was previously experienced by the person with the disorder. The excess of worry and fear is only heightened due to the fact that physical ailments are normally present. If a person with this disorder is concerned over a health related matter, the unexplained physical conditions that are occurring only reinforce the beliefs and worry that is taking place inside their head. A person experiencing this disorder has a chronic fear of other people's perceptions of them. In extreme circumstances where social anxiety disorder exists, a person will avoid social situations all together and will become a "hermit" in their own individual abode. This disorder is impairing to one's normal life functioning because it often affects a person's ability to perform the essential duties in a work environment. It also deters them from engaging in typical conversations because the fear of being embarrassed or judged is so extreme (Fleming, 2012). The difference between social anxiety disorder and other disorders is that a person is capable of enjoying themselves.
