Rome was one of the greatest empires to ever exist. It was the envy of the world. At its peak, it stretched from Western Europe to North Africa,
throughout the Mediterranean area into Western Asia. They had many great inventions that were innovated and are still used today. But the factors that
caused the fall of this great empire were pretty few and could have been avoided. The first factor that lead to their demise was the decline in
population. It reached a stunning low of 6000 around the 500's C.E. The suspected reason was that people's rich and luxurious lifestyles and their

The law of gravity explains that what goes up, must come down. As humans living on Earth we comply to this law that at times can be dissimilar
from objects such as the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in year 476 AD. Rome was a massive, heavily populated, and rich empire that

The Fall of Rome Have you ever played with a lump of clay, stretching it and making it into strange shapes? Then you've probably encountered a
situation where it was stretched so far that is started falling apart. Well, the decline of the Roman Empire went something like that. "Rome, like all
great empires was... undermined by internal decay." (Romans Without Laurels) With its political changes with the introduction of Christianity,
economic depression from resources spread too thin, and the culture that made this city great becoming abandoned, it was no wonder that the once
proud empire was slowly falling into disrepair. That militarial expansion that so many Romans thought would make them greater only served to
spread the forces of Rome so thin, that the empire just fell apart. Like all great civilizations, Rome's decline went on unnoticed for many, many years
until a sudden event brought it all crashing down. In this case, it was likely the spread of Christianity and the considerable changes that came with it.
When Constantine went so far as to move the capital of Rome to Constantinople, a split was made between those who liked the change and those who
