My name is Crystal Arriaga and I want you to tour stress free.
We all have stress in our lifes.
My mantra is straight to the point of what my goal is. I want to get my artist or band on the road to get from point A to point B with no hassles.
A. Growing up in a small town and then moving to the city was a big change.
1. I was shy and never liked being a team leader when it came to school projects.
2. I then moved back to the countryside and got my first job.
3. After a year of working, I was promoted to manager and found a real passion I never knew I had.
My name is Crystal Arriaga; I am currently a student at Full Sail University working on getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business.
1. I was in choir all my life and have always known I wanted to pursue a career in music but didn’t know exactly what.
2. I have always wanted to travel around the world and then thought, “Why not put the two together?”
3. I have gone to many concerts since my senior year of high school and was always fascinated to know how a show was put together.
A. I worked for Pizza Hut as a manager for 2 ½ years and I am now currently working at my local library as a children’s program coordinator.
1. I learned how to manage a team.
2. Organize events and schedule performers
3. How to budget.
1. I have taken advice from teachers and my fellow classmates to reach tour manager and ask them questions.
2. I have gotten in contact with several tour managers by attending shows and have gain insight on their world.
C. I use to volunteer at the elementary school as a tutor and I also volunteered at the library.
F. The mistake that I make is not asking for an email to contact them.
1. By asking for their emails, I could have contact with them if I had any questions I thought of later and not the day I meet them.
What do I do as a professional?
A. I currently don’t have any work experience in the music business field.
B. At my job, I was able to bring in almost 400 people in during our Summer Reading program for 2015.
1. The library is in a small town, so bring in that many people are a big achievement
B. The type of work I desire would be to work for a management company and be able to tour with any band.
1. The genre of the music I would like to do is rock or pop punk, but any genre would be great.
C. Skills and Experiences.
1. Basic word, excel, powerpoint, and keynote.
2. Submitting paperwork.
3. Booking
A. I currently don’t have a website but I do have the Facebook page for our library.
