This letter is to recommend Cristina Bacon as a candidate for a position in your organization. I am familiar with
Mrs. Bacon’s skills and abilities from our three years together at Poe Magnet Elementary School, where she
served as our Math Coach and School Improvement Team Co-Chair.
Mrs. Bacon is a smart and talented leader with a range of experiences. From the time she joined the team at
Poe, she immediately stood out as capable and reflective practitioner. While already highly qualified, she
continually sought opportunities to grow professionally. She consistently collaborated with teachers to help
them refine their practice, and used a variety of resources to hone her skills as a coach. Mrs. Bacon challenged
all members of our Instructional Leadership Team to develop by sharing resources with us and guiding us in
reflection on our approaches to supporting teachers in strengthening practice.
During our time together, Mrs. Bacon demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, and ability in all areas. She was
easily able to go beyond standard coaching duties with individuals or teams to leading staff in broader areas,
including data analysis, program alignment, and strategic planning.
It is my professional opinion, Cristina Bacon will be a great contributor to any organization. Feel free to contact
