Certification. Bethany and I have worked together for three years and I had the pleasure of supervising
her during the 2013-2014 academic year. Bethany exhibits great leadership skills by being an active
listener, a team-builder and a positive influence for her tutors. Bethany is etficient, organized and pays
close attention to detail.
ln Bethany's current position, she recruits, hires, trains, develops, and manages a team of ten
tutors, She also delivers learning skills instruction in multiple modalities to individuals and groups of
students, faculty, statf, and community members using adopted learning skills objectives and
established best practices for lesson plan construction, delivery, and assessment.
Bethany has been an active participant in several college committees. Most recently, she was on the
Student Employee Engagement committee to revamp our Tutor Excellence Course. Bethany
specifically worked on the content that teaches tutors about active listening and fulfilling student needs.
