We are pleased to offer you an unpaid internship with the Inland Fisheries Division of the New
Hampshire Fish and Game Department for the winter/early spring of 2015.
This experience is a good opportunity to participate in several different activities that focus on
freshwater fisheries management and conservation and basic monitoring techniques. Some of the
expected duties for this internship may include:
• Enumerating fish passage at the Amoskeag Dam via video
• Data entry and analysis primarily with the use of excel and access
• Assisting staff at fish hatcheries
• Fish aging by reading scales
• Maintenance of field survey equipment
