Commercial buildings can also be fitted with connected solutions to improve
the experience of users and offer those who operate them better energy
management.
The Eliot commercial offer addresses these issues by offering solutions that
are easy to implement and maintain, scalable and interoperable, and are for
both operators of buildings and their occupants.
For operators, the challenge is to facilitate the management of commercial buildings
and particularly maintenance and energy management.
For occupants, the objective is to improve their comfort and enable them to have
new experiences with Legrand products.

Mini hybrid network for
peri-urban
electrification
Sirea came up with the idea of combining the
control and management of production plants
and the various consumer stations using digital
technologies to provide a complete solution
aiming :
• To optimize the architecture of the power
plant,
• To increase the self-consumed direct
production,
• To improve the economic performance of the
Project Example - Rural Food in Isolated Area
S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N
What are the
expectations of the plant
operator?
Hybrid plants in isolated areas generally offer a low
economic return because of the low rate of use of the
energy delivered during the day associated with a
consequent battery storage. Plant operators therefore
aim to reduce investment costs by:
• increasing the amount of energy consumed directly
during the day and by reducing the need for battery
storage,
• improving control over the production delivered and
consumed
• and reducing the risk of fraud.
S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N
What are the
expectations of
consumers ?
S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N
What are the
expectations of the
network manager?
In the case where the hybrid plant is connected to
the centralized network, the manager can benefit
from an interactive coupling with the plant in order
to:
• reduce the amount of energy delivered by the
network during the day,
• smooth or erase power calls,
• remove the need for line reinforcement.

S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N Mini hybrid network for peri-urban electrification Sirea came up with the idea of combining the control and management of production plants and the various consumer stations using digital technologies to provide a complete solution aiming : • To optimize the architecture of the power plant, • To increase the self-consumed direct production, • To improve the economic performance of the Project Example - Rural Food in Isolated Area
  • 287. S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N What are the expectations of the plant operator? Hybrid plants in isolated areas generally offer a low economic return because of the low rate of use of the energy delivered during the day associated with a consequent battery storage. Plant operators therefore aim to reduce investment costs by: • increasing the amount of energy consumed directly during the day and by reducing the need for battery storage, • improving control over the production delivered and consumed • and reducing the risk of fraud.
  • 288. S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N What are the expectations of consumers ?
  • 289. S H A R E D S E L F - C O N S U M P T I O N What are the expectations of the network manager? In the case where the hybrid plant is connected to the centralized network, the manager can benefit from an interactive coupling with the plant in order to: • reduce the amount of energy delivered by the network during the day, • smooth or erase power calls, • remove the need for line reinforcement.
