Coronation Day Today was the day I so patiently had been waiting for, coronation day! As a commoner it was almost unheard of to be able to visit
the castle amongst the royals. I walked up to the tall door and entered the grand dining hall. The dining hall was dark and cold sending a shiver up
my spine. The sound of laughter and conversation bounced off the walls overpowering the room. That was when I saw him, Macbeth, our future
King, accompanied by his wife. Macbeth looked even taller and wiser in person, he was the type of man anyone would want as their king. At least
that was what I had thought. It was hard to find a seat in the hall, most of them were already taken. After wandering around looking for a place to rest
my feet for what felt like hours, I found one single chair in the center of the room. That was when the bell rang, and each guest was presented with the
largest plate of food anyone had ever seen. As I sat there eating I watched the soon to be King and Queen. They both seemed nervous, and were bitter
toward one another. They did not share a look of love, but rather a look of brokenness. The brokenness faded and was replaced with excitement once

After he kills Duncan, Macbeth carries all the guilt, and is too shaken by shame to continue, while Lady Macbeth either feels no guilt, or represses it,

The result of Macbeth's guilt is that he fears he will go to Hell. "I had most need of blessing, and 'Amen' stuck in my throat," page 28. For someone

The main character in the play, Macbeth, murders King Duncan. However,
I feel that he was not totally to blame. I believe that both Lady
Macbeth and the three witches played a part in his death and this should not be overlooked.
The three witches are all sisters. We first meet the witches in the very first scene of the play when they are on the heath casting a spell. Shakespeare
sets the mood of the play by having them on the moor in the thunder and lightening. This creates a feeling of evil.

But then Banquo gives Macbeth some words of warning. He was saying that some of the prophecies may come true but do not let them get the better

of you. On Macbeth's way home he ran into a messenger. Who had a message from the king, the message was that he was to become the
Thane of Cawdor. After learning that he is to be Thane of Cawdor,
Macbeth begins to think how he could be king Macbeth says he saw a
"horrible image" that "doth unfix my hair" This proves that he is thinking and not leaving it to chance.
He then writes a letter back to his wife Lady Macbeth Telling her about what the witches had said and also told her that he was now
Thane of Cawdor. When she reads this letter she says "unsex me here" she says that because she is willing to do anything to make Macbeth king.
Macbeth then returns to his castle and him and his wife start to plot the death of king Duncan. A messenger then comes to Macbeths castle in
Glyanis telling him that the king was going to stay the king would be staying the night in Macbeths castle the following night. This changed everything

Macbeth Essay "Macbeth" is a tragic play that was written by William Shakespeare in the early 1600's. It revolved around the character Macbeth and
his urge to become king of Scotland. Macbeth had to do anything possible to become the king including murder, lying, and deception. However,
Macbeth committed these evil deeds due to some influential people in his life. Between Macbeth's wife persuading him to do anything to become king
and the witches prophesying over him causes Macbeth to try and bury the past and control the future. Lady Macbeth can be the blame for Macbeth
trying to control the future and bury the past. She motivates Macbeth to make decisions based on what she wants from him, which most of the time
are dangerous choices that could get Macbeth in serious trouble. If Macbeth does not go along with what she wants, she begins to question his
manhood and is very rude to him. By doing this, Lady Macbeth gets Macbeth to fall into her trap because he does not want to seem soft. "When you
durst do it, then you were a man: And to be more than what you were, you would be so much more the man."(Act I, Scene vii, Lines 50–53). She is
telling him that if he kills King Duncan he will be much more a man. This is making Macbeth take a present fatalistic approach on time because he
is unhappy with the present since Lady Macbeth is calling him a coward. This generally leads to risk taking and in this case it does because
Macbeth goes on to kill King Duncan due to the persuasion from Lady Macbeth. This is perfect for Lady Macbeth because she now gets to have a
royal status and cannot get in trouble because she did not kill the king. The killing of King Duncan led Macbeth to murder many more people that
could possibly stop Macbeth from being king. Anyone who could have had any knowledge of Macbeth killing King Duncan or could have taken the
throne from Macbeth was a threat, who needed to be murdered in his eyes. "Our fears in Banquo stick deep, and in his royalty of nature reigns that
which would be feared. 'Tis much he dares, and to that dauntless temper of his mind he hath a wisdom that doth guide his valor to act in safety."(Act

The play, Macbeth, Macbeth and his wife kill the king of Scotland so Macbeth can become king. As a result, of the witches since they told him about
the prophecy and how he would become king. He eventually does more evil things which fills Lady Macbeth with guilt. She ends up killing herself

The killing of his family is his motivation for him to kill Macbeth because he wants to get revenge. Furthermore, ambition is desire of doing something
that is good or bad like revenge. Also, when Malcolm heard what happened to Macduff's family and how Scotland has become after being ruled by
Macbeth, it made him want to kill Macbeth.
Another theme in Macbeth is guilt. I believe that guilt is feeling bad for something that you have done to someone or something. In addition, guilt
can destroy you and/or eat at you. It could even drive you to do something like it did to Macduff. Macduff went to England and left his family
behind so that he could get Malcolm to come back and be king. When he left to get Malcolm, Macbeth killed his entire family. He felt guilty for
living his family alone in Scotland without protection. Similarly to ambition, his guilt drove him to kill Macbeth. Another example of guilt is Lady
Macbeth sleeping walking towards the end of the play. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth killed the king of Scotland (Duncan) and she is feeling guilty for
what she has done. Also, she doesn't like what her husband has done like killing Macduff's whole family. She feels as if she was responsible for that.
In a result of that she ends up sleep walking and eventually killing herself because she couldn't live with the guilt anymore. The guilt of killing Duncan
literally ate at Lady Macbeth and destroyed her to the point of suicide. Macbeth feels guilty for killing Duncan.

In Shakespeare's classic tragedy of Macbeth the main character Macbeth is driven from his status as a well respected warrior and lord of not one, but

Lady Macbeth played a large role as Macbeth's seductress and brainwasher. Lady Macbeth persuaded her husband to kill the King not so that he
would himself be King but so that she could be Queen.Although because of her involvement in this web of lies she felt guilty and drove herself insane

In life, there are two types of people: those who do the right thing and those who don't. In the play Macbeth, by Shakespeare, the main character
Macbeth is given a prophecy by three witches that says he will become king; however, there is no descending line of kings of his own blood. With the
knowledge of the Witches' prophecy,Macbeth's ambition, and manipulation from his wife, Lady Macbeth, Macbeth is quickly dragged into a
