Wellbeing	Solutions	brings	an	evidence	based	approach	to	organizations	to	engage	
employees	in	creating	collaborative	systems	that	create	connection	and	uplift	wellbeing	
for	all.		Based	on	the	belief	that	when	all	individuals	are	empowered	to	live	
wholeheartedly,	cultures	will	emerge	that	heal	the	world.	We	provide	strategy,	training,	
coaching,	and	educational	workshops	on	integrated	wellbeing.		
	
WEST	VIRGINIA	UNIVERSITY		2009-July	2016	
Director,	WELLWVU	Office	of	Wellness	and	Health	Promotion	
Initiated,	developed,	and	directed	a	comprehensive	student	wellbeing	program,	
liveWELL	at	WELLWVU	designed	to	lead	the	way	to	a	campus	culture	of	wellbeing.	Led	a	
team	of	professionals	and	graduate	students	in	applying	the	socio-ecological	model	to	a	
diverse	array	of	topics	impacting	student	wellbeing.		Used	an	experiential	approach	to	
engage	learning,	and	in	training	students	as	leaders	to	influence	social	norms.	
Collaborated	with	faculty	to	integrate	and	assess	wellbeing	education	and	advocate	for	
policies	with	higher	administration	that	support	health	promoting	environments.	
	
Led	a	group	of	diverse	stakeholders	to	achieve	the		WVU	&	Greater	Morgantown	Safe	
Community	designation,	the	first	joint	university	and	municipality	in	the	country	as	
recognized	by	the	National	Safety	Council.

Directed	and	created	innovative	and	award	winning	social	marketing	strategies	and	
online	tools	targeted	to	improve	student	wellbeing.	Serve	as	founding	board	member	of	
the	National	Consortium	for	Building	Healthy	Academic	Communities,	and	chaired	the	
public	policy	committee	for	West	Virginia	Collegiate	Initiative	on	Alcohol.	Secured	NCAA	
grant	related	to	alcohol	education.	Integral	member	of	Breathe	Easy	Alliance	of	
Morgantown	which	led	to	a	Tobacco-Free	community	and	campus.			
	
Adjunct	Faculty,	College	of	Physical	Activity	and	Sports	Sciences						
Won	the	American	College	Health	Foundation	AETNA	(wellness	innovation)	award	for	
Enhancing	Wellbeing	and	Peer	Wellbeing	Coaching	curriculum.	These	courses	are	the	
foundation	of	a	wellbeing	minor	currently	under	review	by	Faculty	Senate	and	offered	
by	Student	Life	staff.	Also	teach	academic	yoga	courses	and	successfully	advocated	for	
the	hiring	of	additional	instructors	to	broaden	offerings	and	meet	student	demand.	
	
WEST	VIRGINIA	UNIVERSITY	STUDENT	RECREATION	CENTER	2005-2008	
Manager	of	Fitness	&	Wellness	
Developed	and	implemented	fitness	and	wellness	programs.	Initiated	changes	to	
programmatic	offerings	and	staffing	models	that	resulted	in	higher	utilization,	improved	
customer	service,	and	a	better	learning	experience	for	student	workers.	Developed	
internship	programs	and	other	collaborative	relationships	with	related	academic	units.		
Secured	and	administered	a	grant	for	Tobacco	Prevention.	Facilitated	and	supervised	
Student	Wellness	Advisory	Board,	and	chaired	professionals	on	Student	Wellness	Board.	
Served	on	the	President’s	Wellness	Initiative	Task	Force.		
	
MORGANTOWN	YOGA,	LLC	–	MORGANTOWN,	WV	1995-2005	
Yoga	Studio	Owner	and	Operator	
Created	and	managed	a	yoga	studio,	offering	wellbeing	programs	targeted	to	diverse	
populations.	Taught	group	classes,	and	provided	yoga	therapy	to	clients	with	physician	
referrals.	Provided	seminars	on	wellness	topics	to	local	companies	and	educational	
institutions.	Wrote	wellbeing	column	for	local	newspaper.	
	
WEST	VIRGINIA	WALKS	–	WVU	MORGANTOWN,	WV	2004-2005	
Project	Coordinator	
Managed	public	relations	campaign	and	events	to	encourage	residents	of	Morgantown	
to	walk	at	least	thirty	minutes	daily.

Initiated	the	development	of	an	award-winning	wellness	program,	including	a	6,000	
square	foot	fitness	facility,	outdoor	basketball	and	tennis	courts,	and	walking	trail.	
Directed	marketing,	design	and	implementation	of	all	fitness,	wellness	and	recreational	
programs.	Supervised	staff	and	managed	diverse	projects	simultaneously	in	a	fast-paced	
organization.	Created	a	wellness	task	force	comprised	of	representatives	of	all	major	
departments	within	the	organization,	and	worked	closely	with	marketing	to	educate	
top-level	management	on	the	benefits	of	employee	wellbeing.	Managed	budget	and	
evaluated	effectiveness	related	to	employee	wellbeing,	incentives	and	organizational
