3. Take Control of Your Day with
Dashboards
Scenario 1
I arrive at the office early Monday morning, but I don’t know
where I left off from the previous week. How do I get up to
speed on what is going on in my world? What’s my schedule
look like? Are any of my candidates beginning or ending
placements this week?
4. Tame Your Tasks
Scenario 2
I need to understand what I have to accomplish today and
also this week. Is there anything I need to be aware of? Is
there something that requires my immediate attention?
5. Effectively Manage Lists
Scenario 3
As I’m working with my job list, there is just so much data
here that I need to figure out how to build this list to match
my workflow. How do I go about configuring my list in
different ways depending on what I am looking to
accomplish?
6. Optimise Shortlists (submissions)
Scenario 4
I need to check in to see how my recent shortlists are doing
and if there are any further actions to take. Do I have any
rejections to follow up on? Are there any clients I need to
chase up?
7. Follow Up Quickly and Easily Using
Templates
Scenario 5
As a recruiter, I have a candidate that I just haven’t been
able to place in a job. I want to market this candidate, but
what is the best way to
go about that?
8. Understanding Your Clients With Pulse
Scenario 6
There are times where specific relationship details slip my
mind. How do I quickly get up to speed with what is going
on with my clients? How do I better understand the status
of my relationships?
9. Take Bullhorn With You On The Road
Scenario 7
I show up to a client meeting, but don’t know everything
that’s going on with the account. What were the last few
notes? Is there anything I should be aware of before
heading inside? Has someone other than myself been
actively reaching out? What did they talk about? How do I
make sure I record everything before I forget?
What challenges do I face as a recruiter aside from sourcing the right candidate
Running out of time
Cricised by candidates and clients alike for not knowing them
Can’t get hold of my candidates
As a recruiter you always want to keep your candidate working – move them from one placement to another – review your starts and ends card – email the client search similar j obs
Also add in here ‘John’ one of my team mates has called in sick – what did he have lined up today – was there anything urgent

Managing your candidate is also about knowing your candidate (always criticized for not knowing them) – review the slide out information – quick info with out having to dive into the record – and then inline edit keep it up to date.
Organise the list to show recent additions- use your favourites so you are aware of new candidates coming in
Inline editing/quick note referencing a candidate.
Let’s say the candidate does come back to us – you have a great call and whilst your client doesn’t have a role you think you can spec this candidate out to others if you don’t place the candidate someone else will – how do you log/action this.
This is about taking control of your day life as a recruiter means you are juggling multiple jobs at various stages and you need to make sure you don’t miss anything – don’t let a candidate own your day – that one that calls at 8am every morning – send a hold email out to all candidates. Send a chaser to your client. Talk through what happens when your client calls in how can I quickly find all the candidates I sent them regardless of what role it was for – then work through each one using the slide out. Don’t forget to actual reject the candidate – always get told we don’t give feedback – use email templates to save time.
I don’t think this is a great value add one to merit it’s own slide more something that we can talk about

Demo:
Using m.bullhorn.com aka Bullhorn for Mobile. I am able to get right up to speed with an account. I can quickly see the last few notes associated with this account. I can see each interaction that they have had with my agency, even if it is not with me. I can dive into specific communications to gain more context into the conversation.
After the meeting ends, I can quickly log notes/details of the meeting so that I don’t forget what happened at the meeting or need to take the time to later on to enter this data into the system when I am back at the office.
Reference the previous slide – I’m on the train home and finally get a hold of the candidate – document it now using mobile
