Introduction
 A financial professional with more than 15 years of
experience in investments and strategic planning,
Christopher Marc Melton serves as a portfolio
manager at Callegro Investments in Austin, Texas.
Christopher Marc Melton also holds the position of
director emeritus for Worldfund, an organization that
facilitates literacy and education in Latin America
through programs such as the Inter-American
Partnership for Education (IAPE).
The IAPE transforms English language (EL)
instruction in underserved public schools across
Mexico by empowering instructors and creating a
supportive network of innovative EL instructors.
Established in 2007 as part of the Clinton Global
Initiative, the program provides training courses that
incorporate pedagogical training, workshops, and
cultural activities to help instructors advance their

 EL instructors also collaborate toward efforts that
promote lasting and sustainable changes in the
classroom.
As part of their participation in IAPE, EL
instructors receive a designated mentor and must
commit to at least three years of service in
teaching English at public institutions in Mexico.
Participants also agree to maintain an active
presence in the IAPE Forum, ongoing workshops,
and the overall education community.
Furthermore, they also contribute to the program
by completing periodic IAPE surveys and
