Congratulations on passing the NextGen EPM Certification Test! An NCP is crucial to the support of 
NextGen® over the span of your relationship with NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc. NCPs are 
the liaisons between NextGen and the end user community. 
As a NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) for your organization, you should be regarded as your 
organization’s expert on the system. You are authorized and certified to qualify all support requests and serve 
as the primary point of contact for your organization. In addition, you should be fielding end user questions, 
training issues, escalating issues to NextGen Support as necessary, be knowledgeable about NextGen Support 
operations, coordinate software deliveries, coordinate new software rollouts, including Testing, and conduct (or 
at least coordinate) all end user training. In other words, as your organization’s NCP, you should be providing 
all direct support to your End-users.
