Music Magazine Analysis

1. 1647825-628650<br />Q Music Magazine: The first thing you can notice about this advert is it’s striking colours! As I was looking through the magazine this immediately caught my eye and definitely made me take interest in what was on the page. Also Mika is known for its odd style of music and well this advert certainly displays that. Wacky colours, pictures and planets. None of which directly relate together but just seem to flow side by side in the picture. <br />19621501212215Obviously we can see that MIKA stands out quite and bit and even more so with its added effect of it being in 3D. The designers have really caught on to the idea of capturing people’s interest. Also the use of a what can be called “stereotypical” teenagers bedroom does suggest the audience in which the album could be aimed at. It shows a relation between the reader and the music and the boy/girl in the picture could be listening to their music whilst reading their book. ‘Typical’ teenagers always hiding away in their bedrooms.<br />The next advert from Q is one from a larger company called Tiger. Although not directly related to music it shows a very nigh contrast between two different day conditions. Which also seems to be the same colour as those on the bottle, a colour theme is already being used to affect on this advert. The background suggest some sort of ‘fantasy’ land as our world looks nothing like that in the picture and the colours have been typically enhanced to give a more appealing feel to the picture. <br />Also the caption “Born in the East, Loved in the west” indicating that there drink is loved by all those around the world and already symbolises popularity and image in these days is a very important thing with people buying brands which are popular by perhaps well known celebrities wearing them. This advert also plays a big role in eye candy and defiantly gets the reader to give it a glance over and the drink looks pretty cool with the colour theme.<br />
