3. Abstract
New technology like (IoT) in recent years rapidly
developing in a computing world. The Internet of things will
change the real world, activities and objects from simple to most
complex. Beside areas as Business, Cities, Transportation,
Healthcare, Agriculture and different areas, The IoT will also have
a major implication in institute/college. In digital era our college
campus needs of IoT technology for classy environment to utilize
secured & modern technology for e-campuses activities in
academic course of action. In general, campuses spread over a
fairly large area and it’s very difficult to control for management to
track everything happens. This project focuses on need of adopting
IoT technology in campus using Secured for (e-Educational)-
Campus academics. In near future drastically make changes for
students in highly enabled IoT. Starting from needs and advantages
ending with a possible architecture based on smart objects.

4. Introduction
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a recent communication paradigm
that envisions a near future, in which the objects of everyday life
will be equipped with microcontrollers, transceivers for digital
communication, and suitable protocol stacks that will make them
able to communicate with one another and with the users,
becoming an integral part of the Internet. By working in this way
access and communication with the different variety of gadgets
and devices like camera, audio recorder, smart watches, Google
glass, Digital broad displays, sensors …etc. the IoT will nurture
the improvement of learning circumstance that make use of the
huge subject data generated by those objects to provide dynamic
services to teachers, learners and even to content developers in
modern Campus. Smart college campus enables us to use IoT
methodologies to make it available for classroom notes
everywhere inside network area.
5. Aim
The networked campus provides a digital foundation that favors
implementing new services that make life, learning, and work
much more efficient and easier for students and university staff
and administration.
6. Objective
The main goal of this project is to present a Local Area Network
design suitable for colleges. Many colleges in developing cities are
searching for ways to integrate networks that have security, backup,
and other features available in a college network in a developed
country. The colleges in developing cities are faced with challenges in
designing a network that is equal in the standards used by developed
cities. The main problem developing cities face deals with a profound
budget deficit. This research will help these colleges to design a
network that employs low-cost solutions without unacceptable
compromises in security or quality.
9. Techniques
Big Data Analytics:
It refers to the method of studying massive volumes of data or big
data. Collection of data whose volume, velocity or variety is simply
too massive and tough to store, control, process and examine the data
using traditional databases. Big data is gathered from a variety of
sources including social network videos, digital images, sensors and
sales transaction records.
Several steps involved in analyzing big data –
o Data cleaning
o Munging
o Processing
o Visualization
10. Techniques
Communications Protocols:
They are the backbone of IoT systems and enable network connectivity
and linking to applications. Communication protocols allow devices to
exchange data over the network. Multiple protocols often describe
different aspects of a single communication. A group of protocols
designed to work together is known as a protocol suite; when
implemented in software they are a protocol stack.
They are used in
o Data encoding
o Addressing schemes
11. Techniques
Embedded Systems:
It is a combination of hardware and software used to perform special
tasks. It includes microcontroller and microprocessor memory,
networking units (Ethernet Wi-Fi adapters), input output units (display
keyword etc.) and storage devices (flash memory).
o It collects the data and sends it to the internet.
o Embedded systems used in
12. Software &
Hardware
Requirements
Before heading towards the implementation, we need to make sure of
the following requirements.
o A proper workstation (any mid-high range laptop will suffice).
o Packet Tracer by Cisco
o 8 GB RAM.
o Any 10,000+ Average CPU Mark scored processor.
o 16 GB of dedicated hard disk space.
o USB 3.0+ port.
13. Modules
Campus Operator
Interdisciplinary research
Pilot Environment
University Key Operation
o Teaching
o Learning
o Research
o Support Function
Campus Service
o Conference & Event
o Property Management
o Restaurants, Shops
o Entertainment & Culture
Campus Surrounding
o Public Traffic
o Private Traffic
o Living & Leisure service
o Network Of enterprises
17. Advantages
o It can assist in the smarter control of campus by administration. It enhances security
and offers personal protection.
o By automating activities, it saves us a lot of time.
o Information is easily accessible, even if we are far away from our actual location, and
it is updated frequently in real time.
o Electric Devices are directly connected and communicate with a controller computer,
such as a cell phone, resulting in efficient electricity use. As a result, there will be no
unnecessary use of electricity equipment.
o Personal assistance can be provided by IoT apps, which can alert you to your regular
plans.
o It is useful for safety because it senses any potential danger and warns users.
o It minimizes human effort because IoT devices connect and communicate with one
another and perform a variety of tasks without the need for human intervention.
o Improving the financial aid application procedure
18. Conclusion
This research work is to investigate the concept of the internet of things and
its relevance in campus context. Internet of things is a new technology that
is used for the interconnection of the devices with the help of the internet
connection. It enables the devices to sense and monitor devices remotely. It
has been shown how to successfully build a smart campus that will contain
progressed ICT'S to consequently screen and control each activity and
events inside a campus using IoT smart devices.
