Pretoria Director and Centre Leader - Telefriend (Telephone Lay-Counselling
Services). Centre Leader of the Pretoria city branch of a national telephone
counselling line, manned by 140 volunteers serving rotationally. Recruited,trained
and managed volunteers; conducted fund-raising and built donor relationships and
marketing;ServedonNationalStrategicBoard. Raised theincomelevel of the centre
by 900% within two years; planted two satellite centres in other church
denominations. Guest speaker on television and radio programs. Presented
Telefriend conceptto Ellel Ministries in England, contributing to the eventualmerger
of the two ministries.
