the amazing accomplishments
they have achieved this year.
Our annual celebration
highlights the greatest
victories, team championships
and outstanding athletes who
display not only talent, but
courage and honor. Various
awards will be given to the
teams and athletes who had
the best athletic seasons and
showed the most bulldog
spirit throughout the year.
With the sponsorships of our
wonderful donors, we are able
to reward our athletes for all
the hardwork and sacrifices
they have made to bring pride
to Fresno State.

Along with a red carpet entrance
and full three course meal, we will
honor our student-athletes for various
awards. Awards vary from academic
and conference honors to athletic
training scholarships and Bulldog
spirit awards.
The Bulldog of the Year award is
honored to a male and female athlete
who have recieved multiple conference
honors and stand out above all other
athletes. These athletes help lead their
teams to victory and proudly carry the
Bulldog spirit with them.
This award is given to the team with the
most community service hours given to the
communities of the San Joaquin Valley.
The George Ilg Newcomer of the Year
award is given to the most outstanding
freshmen or transfer athletes of the year.
Various athletic training scholarships are
awarded to first year and senior athletic
training students who show excellence
in academics and clinical work, while
displaying compassion, teamwork and
leadership qualities.
The Harold Haak Memorable Moment
award recognizes the best singular
performances or highlights of the year.
This award is presented annually to two
outstanding student-athletes who have
overcome a physical challenge to become a
champion.
This award is given to the student-athletes
who best represent the Bulldog spirit in
everything they do.
