6. • It starts off with a number of close up shots on eyes, flickers between many.
• Stops on main guys eye
• Main guy is shown in a house with no one around him, lit up by technology whilst being
absorbed by television.
• Changes to a girl sat on her phone, looking through facebook, chilling on snapchat etc.
Showing no attention to her surroundings but instead all on Social Media.
• Changes to a boy sat on a couch on his computer.You cannot see the boy's face but only
see the fact that he is occupied doing whatever he is doing.
7. • Flickers back to man watching tv.
• Mise en Scene – technology instead of bulbs etc.
• Shows technology taking over.
• Guy goes and gets some popcorn or food, comes back to seat and sits on control, television
turns off and the screen starts to fade to colour – very very slowly, hardly noticeable but it is
happening.
• Guy stops freaking out and turns the television back on, instantly back to greyscale,
instantly has attention drawn back onto the programme.
• Cuts to girl on phone.
8. • Girl is told to go and take a selfie in a certain location
• She follows 'order' - shows how the technology is taking over her life
• She travels to the location and sends the selfie to the app, she is awarded with a prize.
• Follow the phone signal from Jess (the girl) to the man on the laptop.
9. • Male on Laptop is shown to be bloodshot in the eye.
• Coughing to show he is ill, however does not care about that and carries on playing his
game.
• Sound of the keyboard intensifies as well as the sound of the game, gets louder over time.
• SMASH CUT BABY
10. • Cuts back to the original guy eating his popcorn. Still alone, still lit up by nothing but
modern technology
• Cuts to colour where a family appear around him
• The family are trying to help him, still no dialogue shown but actions of speech will be
clear.
• Guy is not acknowledging them as real people.
• Cuts back to greyscale, the family disappear.
• Guy left alone, shows how technology takes over and there is no escape for people.
