PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
A Mechanical Engineer with more than 30 months of experience in Machine Erection activities,
Maintenance, Planning and Operation of Dragline as well as Maintenance of other HEMM.
Currently designated as Asst. Manager (Maintenance) with Reliance Power Ltd. (SASAN Coal Ltd.),
Amlori & Amlori Extension Project, Sasan, Madhya Pradesh.

PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. Currently Working as Asst. Manager – Mechanical maintenance HEMM in Reliance Power Ltd.
(SASAN Coal Ltd.), Amlori & Amlori Extension Project, Sasan, and Madhya Pradesh.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Present responsibility encircles condition monitoring, real time and trends monitoring,
troubleshooting, maintenance of HEMM and its key components with modular mine care to
increase MTBF.
Budgeting and Annual planning of spares, lubricant, critical items, outsourcing & manpower costs
of HEMM including spare budget management with EOQ and ABC analysis.
Lead a manpower crew of 60 i.e. technician, fitter, welder, electrician and dragline operator in
shift to carry out all the maintenance activities to reduce MTTR.
As Maintenance In charge, I Ensure maximum Availability (90% milestone target) of the Equipment
- Dragline "CAT 8200 AC" (India's Biggest Dragline) by keeping all the spares, consumables etc. on
the machine at right time to optimize the breakdown or idle Hours.
As Maintenance In charge, I Ensure maximum Utilization (70% target) of the Equipment by
interacting with the Mine planning Team, Technical support Team, Mining field personnel to
optimize the idle time of machine.
2. Meeting/Interaction with CEO, Project Director and other vertical HOD to discuss on various
issues/parameters to attain the best for the equipment and Organisation.
Working/creating on SOP for all the various activities what we are achieving during maintenance,
so that to carry out that same activity in a best manner.
Keep looking for the modern tech equipment to attain the best working methodology and also
reduce more manpower involvement which in turn reduce the idle time.
Ensure the equipment, crew works in or around the safe environment by keep interacting with the
safety team and also following all the DGMS safety norms.
Application of my Dense knowledge in Welding procedure, classification, selection of welding,
quality inspection, hand on experience with Non Destructive like UT, DPT, NPT many more in the
equipment rebuilding/reclamation processes.
Analysis of equipment availability & productivity – indulge in Weekly and monthly production
report of equipment and discussion with management for optimization in future.
Responsible for performing routine maintenance, proactive maintenance, preventive
maintenance, condition based maintenance and all the suggested maintenance by OEM,
corrective procedures etc.
Working on SAP & KADMS for spare & inventory management reduces 15% cost of the production
spare parts expenses. Raising Purchase requisitions and Technical Evaluation Reports for the
better procurement of the spare by considering their all the technicality.
Responsible for Analysis of machine failures (performing Root cause analysis of the failure),
maintaining the Incident report of the failures, and making of warranty claims against the OEM.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Served as shift engineer maintenance to ensure the availability of large fleet of HEMM includes 2
no’s of Dragline (62m3
CAT 8200 AC biggest of its kind), 6 no’s of shovel (42m3
), 55 no’s of Dump
Truck (240MT), 11 Track Dozers & 6 Wheel Dozers, 8 Graders and other ancillary equipment.
Executed the installation of Fire trace Auto fire detection and suppression system both IDLP and
DLP type on dragline.
Development of Dragline deployment plan on MS Project to achieve the target outcome at time
by assigning the people responsibility to the concerned task.
Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan to minimize failures resulting in stoppage of
work – Created the 10days maintenance plan for Dragline.
Estimation of maintenance costs – Discussion on optimization of the same.
Assessing the needs of equipment replacements, spare parts, and critical parts.
Responsible for checking the lube specification and condition of the lubricated parts to decide its
replacement or modification in lubrication method as well as the SOS analysis of the samples for
the better decision taking.
Negotiation with sales and marketing team regarding the various parts canablisation in the
equipment considering the technical compatibility and monetary impact on Organisation.

Published a review paper on “Study of different Axial Flow Fan components and discussion on
the failures affecting the performance of the fan” in “IJSRD - International Journal for Scientific
Research & Development, Vol. 2, Issue 02, 2014”.
Recognized with “SUPER BRAVO AWARD of the Year” to my effort for the utilization of scrap/used
ropes of shovel in Dragline and ensure a saving of 0.5 million INR by “RELIANCE POWER LTD-
SASAN COAL MINES PROJECT, SINGRAULI, and MADHYA PRADESH”.
Recognized with various winning and participation award at my college level in some of the
activities like Designing, poster making, banner making, Collage making, Puzzle etc.
