Professional profile
I recently completed my Graduate Diploma inTESOL from the University of
Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Language Literacy and Numeracy from
the same university in 2011. I pursued these post graduate degrees while working full
time as a qualified Reader Education Librarian at various Northern Sydney Institute
Campuses. My major tasks include teaching research skills to different levels of
students enrolled in various courses generally based on their major assignments. This
necessitates adapting to different subject content and language specialisation. I
appreciate the interaction with the students whether a one-to-one or a group session.
Objective
I am earnestly seeking initially a relatively casual teaching position which will enable
me to make full use of my teaching qualification. I believe that combining my skills and
years of experience as a Reader Education Librarian with the knowledge and training I
obtained from the University will contribute to furthering my professional skills and
development.
