ThisprojectisaboutthedesignofacomplexinAthensnextto
Sicily’sHill,alocationneartheAcropolisandFilopappouHill.
Theaimwastocreatetwoseparatebuildingstobelinkingthrough
urbandesign.
Thegroundfloorsbothbuildingsarepartofurbanfabricasapublic
zone,combiningpublicfunctionssuchasshops,cafe,cultural
activitiesandtheexpansionoftheurbandesign.
Atthehigherlevelsofbothbuildingstherearesmallapartments.
Wedesignaverticaldipole,ensuringtheprivacyofresidents.
Asthecomplexislocatedatthedowntown,thereisagreatneedfor
parkingareas,thusweincludedaparkingatthelowerlevel.
However,wepointedthedesignatbuildingA’,thebiggerbuilding
ofthisproject.
ItconsiststwoLtypebuildingswhichincludethesmallapartments
andabigatriumwithametalconstruction.
Thebuilding’splacementstrengthensthecenterandthecomplex’s
publicfunctions,unitingthepublicspacesandtheroutesinit.
