When a child is born into a family, most parents think and believe that
they have a long period of time for childrearing (legally up to age 18);
but as a parent of two adult children and if you are blessed with a
long life (over the age of 65-70).

I have informed younger parents just how quickly time flies and that
every parent (father and mother) possesses a short window of time
from infancy thru adolescence to raise their babies into adulthood.
Question:
So, what are you saying?
My Response:
Time is of the essence, regardless of how the relationship started or
ended between the two parents, the child(ren) cannot be placed on
“PAUSE” while the father and mother work through their dislike,
falling out of love, moving on with another partner, betrayal issues ,
and/or hatred towards one another.
There is a greater good is at hand., i.e.. “it’s not all about you” and
each parent stay focused on jointly giving your child(ren)
unconditional love, support, nurturance, acceptance , compassion ,
financially, emotional & mental connectedness from the father and
mother.
In order to achieve a peaceful and cohesive positive co-parenting
relationship it is essential for every parent to understand and yield to
the “power of GOD’s forgiveness” in overcoming relationship failures
and thereby, raising your children without toxic interactions.

“Two essential elements of family — marriage and parenthood —
reveal God’s character like nothing else in Creation. The love between
a husband and wife provides a glimpse of Christ’s passionate devotion
to us as His bride. In the same way, the ups and downs of parenthood
offer a compelling picture of God’s tenderness and patience toward us
as His children.
“And family does more than reflect God’s character. It provides a safe
place where children can experience God’s love (through their
parents) and learn how to love other people.”

What is the Significance of the Birthright?
“The birthright promised to God’s people is in three aspects: image,
dominion, and participation in God’s kingdom. God’s central intention
in creating man is that man would bear His image to express Him
(Gen. 1:26)”
“The second aspect of the birthright concerns man’s having dominion.
God’s intention is for man to have dominion to subdue every negative
thing on earth and exercise God’s authority (Gen. 1:26). Instead, Adam
himself was subdued by Satan. Christ came and fulfilled God’s
intention. He defeated the enemy Satan and in ascension, all things
were subjected under His feet (Eph. 1:22). Our birthright as New
Testament believers is to experience Christ’s subduing power and to
participate in Christ’s dominion today. In Christ, we enjoy everything
being subjected under the Lord’s feet. By our receiving the abundance
of grace and the gift of righteousness, we may reign over all things in
Christ (Rom 5:17) to exercise God’s authority.”
“The third aspect of our wonderful birthright is our participation in
God’s kingdom. This includes the church life as the kingdom of God in
the present age (Rom. 14:17) and the kingdom’s full manifestation in
the coming millennium (Rev. 20:6). Today, we enjoy the kingdom’s
righteousness, peace, and joy by gathering for fellowship as the Body
of Christ. Then in the next age, the victorious believers who have
valued their birthright in this age will reign with Christ for a thousand
years. This kingdom participation is both our birthright today and a
marvelous coming reward.”
