Make sure you are capturing all owners of vehicle and remember all owners and co-owners need to be added to the policy as rated or excluded if the state allows it. If the customer says that the vehicle is not titled to them but they will have it titled to them in the next 30 days, you can proceed with quote and advise them UW will reach out for proof of ownership if binding the policy.
You do not need a VIN to do a quote but if you do have the VIN it will give you a more accurate rate. If you have the vin make sure to enter in the VIN and then push enter to populate the vehicle information. You will then need to fill in all vehicle information
There is a second page for vehicle information that asks about financing and when they purchased the vehicle. The ownership question will appear here as well. If the customer advises they do not have the vehicle titled in their name yet but will have it titled to them in the next 30 days you can proceed with the quote. If you are binding the policy please make sure you advise them that underwriting will reach out to them for proof of ownership.
Once you put in VIN information and answer all vehicle questions it will bring you back to this page. You can add another vehicle if you need to from here as well. If you have a pre-1981 vehicle or a cost new you will still need to go to Policy Center to finish the quote.
You will collect the rest of the information about the named insured, including marital status, education and employment. The work from home discount will also appear even with Georgia. If you get the license information you may proactively run CLUE up front which will give you a more accurate price. Also you may notice it does ask you on the driver page to assign which vehicle each driver drives the most. There is no separate driver assignment page. If the customer needs a financial responsibility you will add it hear as well. You can add additional drivers on this page and the risk questions will appear here as well.

It is required to ask if they work from home, also make sure to ask how many days a week do they drive to work.
If they use a company vehicle for work you can put in 0 if they don’t use their vehicle at all to commute.
Make sure if you have not asked yet if they have a valid us drivers license in the US. If you capture the license number here, you will be able to run clue upfront which will give you a more accurate rate. MVR will still be run at the end once they are interested in purchasing the policy. If the customer needs a financial responsibility, it will be added on this page. It will also give you a reminder to advise of 75.00 filing fee as well.
Will validate on the Drivers page, but agents must be able to qualify the customer up front
Once you have completed the named insured’s information, you will be brought to the drivers page where you can add or exclude another driver. Make sure to ask both of the risk questions on this page.
If you have an additional driver to add put in their name and fill out information about the driver. If you wish to exclude the driver in one of our exclusion states click on “yes” to exclude the driver and fill in gender and relationship to the named insured. The exclusion form does not send out automatically like it did in V9 we will discuss later how to send the form to the customer when they are ready to buy.
