Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/ Instructor in Pediatrics for Geisel School of
Medicine at Dartmouth
Work collaborativelywitha multidisciplinaryteam to coordinate care for an
average of6-15 critically ill neonates. Perform procedures suchas intubation,
chest tube placement, needle decompression, PICC line placement, UAC/UVC
catheterization, peripheralarterycatheterization and lumbar puncture. Attend high
riskdeliveries and perform neonatalresuscitation per NRP guidelines. Provide
fluid and parental nutritionmanagement. Manage various forms of ventilation
suchas HFOV, conventional ventilation, NIPPV and CPAP. Provide education
and updates to families. Workan instructor for the Geisel School ofMedicine at
Dartmouthto teachresidents and interns during their NICU rotation.

Level III NICU RN/Clinical Scholar
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional
care to critically ill neonates. Demonstrated excellent assessment skills
and the ability to rapidly identify signs of deterioration in the neonate’s
condition. Cared for neonates requiring various medical interventions such
as ECMO, head cooling, high frequency oscillation, dialysis, etc.
Mentored and precepted new hires and students. Served as a clinical
scholar for the office of Professional Development to facilitate clinical
rotations throughout Children’s in partnership with various universities.
