This letter is in recommendation of Ms Caroline Karavoulias
I am lecturer at Uppsala University. I have known Ms Karavoulias as a full time
student at the master programme in human rights. The programme is inter-
disciplinary combining legal studies, political science and ethics.
I have been the teacher of Ms Karavoulias during two courses: 1) The international
system for protection of human rights covering treaties, global and regional human
rights institutions, and 2) Globalisation and human rights covering non-state actors,
interaction with domestic systems, universalism versus relativism.
Ms Karavoulias has performed well during the courses regardless if is a traditional
exam or paper. During the course “Globalisation and human rights” she wrote a
paper on the responsibility of the Swedish state for migrants from other EU states.
The paper was good, it had a pleasant scope in its content and made proper use of
sources.
Ms Karavoulias has shown knowledge, skills and determination. Therefore I give her
my recommendations.
Sincerely,
Mark Klamberg, LL.M., LL.D.
