VIOLATIONS:
• Child marriage is one of the women’s rights violation.
• It is a global issue fueled by gender inequality, poverty, social norms and insecurity.
• Child marriage disrupts children's right and places them at high risk of violence, exploitation and
abuse.
• Child marriage has devastating impacts all over the world.

• On November, 2022, our team conducted this survey
among 10 Lebanese women.
• The main purpose of the survey was to discover how
much awareness does Lebanese women have about
child marriage.
• The survey was conducted by means of a Google
form questionnaire sent to these women by
WhatsApp.

• Many conclusions may be drawn from the
data.
• The survey shows high level of awareness
among Lebanese women from different
age gaps.
• It also sheds the light on the participants
thoughts regarding solving child marriage.
• In addition, the survey indicates that the
main reason for child marriage is family
obligation, and that child marriage has
several negative consequences such as
violence and childhood lose.
