On behalf of SCOUTS South Africa I would like to thank you and your fellow EML students for your generous
support towards Scouting in South Africa.
The effort you undertook to assist us in defining the most effective method of evaluating the impact that
our programmes have on members and their communities was really appreciated. We also recognise the
fact that you flew to South Africa to meet with us and some of our stakeholders.
Moreover you went over and above by promoting and creating a crowdsourcing campaign on Go Fund Me
for us. Your hard work raised R 15 560, which went towards the administration of Groups nationwide. At a
time where funding for the running of programmes is scarce, the funds were much needed.
Your queries and report also allowed us to reflect on the methods we are currently using to create awareness
and raise our NGO profile amidst potential donors.
