Brief Synopsis
Llewelyn Moss, an ordinary guy in Texas discovers a number of bodies and
trucks whilst on a hunting trip. As he investigates further, he discovers a $2m
cash hoard, and realises this is the proceeds of a drug deal gone wrong, takes
the money and goes on the run. The film documents Lewellyn’s flight across
Texas with the money and his pursuit by the drug barons hit man, Anton Chigurh,
a homicidal and ruthless killer. In a parallel thread, the narrative is shown from
the perspective of an old experienced County Sheriff, Ed Tom Bell charged
investigating the trail of mayhem which ensues, and from whom the title of the
film is taken.

Llewelyn realises he is being followed has gone on the run from Chigurh, and
has arrived at a small town in West Texas. The scene shows his arrival in town,
his checking into a small cheap motel, where he decides to hide his cash, in it’s
cabin bag in the air conditioning vent.
